zero production?

Japan was dangling a Settler early on, so I took it. I had already starting building a little military since he was getting antsy. So when it came time to sue for peace, he offered his new city. Happiness was pretty good, so I took it and chose not to raze it to prevent him from resettling it.

It turned out to be very helpful because being so low pop, it adopted my religion early and helped pressure the area.

It wasn't until dozens of turns later that I noticed it had not yet built anything. The UI says zero production, but we can all see that the city tile has 2 hammers. Anybody seen anything like this before?

Usually, I'm afraid of Shaka...

But Russia in Earth Mother rich lands can easily outproduce the scary Impis. He eventually tucked tail and set off on the path of least resistance!

Say what now?!

Can't face any other way. Can only effect it by casting Unleash Elements. Which does 2-3% normally or way more if either half crits. Making this very VERY tedious. Tried everything I can think of to change how I'm facing.

Can't find a 90s song that got stuck in my head!

What I think I remember is that the music cuts out/down and what is sang is "I am going to give my looove to YOU." Immediately with dance-y to music, you hear "Giving it to you. Giving it to you."

I've tried searching with those quotes exactly, but search engines have gotten to be pretty useless if you're not looking for something somebody paid them to sell to you. Can anybody help? It was on the radio, so I'm guessing it was somebody pop/mainstream back then. Thanks!

A Celestial Challenge: actually getting credit.

I have four 90s that I do the A Celestial Challenge daily on and on average, one of them doesn't give credit and I have to re-run it. Does anybody have any reason why?

I get the blessing at the start of the run. I have the signet in my inventory. In the rare instance I die, I use the signet to reapply the buff. I always have the bar building up. I unleash it multiple times in the run. I make sure I'm standing in it's area of effect (Xuen). I make sure to use it on the final boss. All this, and I sometimes do not get credit. Happened twice today already. It's driving me up the wall!

I just want to understand why it's not giving me credit so I can stop doing whatever I'm doing wrong.

Where would you settle?

Two pantheons taken already. Neither are Desert Folklore, nor Iroquois. But Iroquois have 2 visible desert tiles, so I anticipate they will take it. Even with Desert Folklore, there's no clear exploit or reasonable plan to beat Iroquois to Petra (Emperor).

Land and resources are awkward in general. I'm thinking one tile west of my external warrior would be a modest but sensible settle, if not provocative. The isthmus seems underwhelming, but necessary to claim. And remaining land looks suitable for two not fully potential cities. Generally blah, so wanted to see what others are seeing that I might not.

I'm considering heading to the modest settle I mentioned, knowing I can pivot next turn once Iron is revealed.

new personal record: 1,148 damage

Corrupted, vulnerability, 7 energy, Replay 1, and a [[Duplicator]] makes 1,148 damage! Despite being weakened ;)

[EDIT]

If I had played any 1 cost attack before Borrowed Time+, I would've lost the Lethality+ 75% boost, but gained the Pen Nib 100% boost. Oops!

Hi, all. I have a 90 ret pal and blood DK that I enjoy soloing old content with. Also have a BM hunter and enchance shaman, but they can't do QUITE as much. However, this is my favorite thing to do in the game, so I was looking for tips on what other class/specs do well so I know which I'd like to roll next.

My guess would be that brewmaster monk and guardian druid would be okay. What about warlocks? I've seen SimonizeShowTV doing amazing things with a rogue, but he's well geared. Does priest (maybe disc specifically) do enough healing? Or is low armor a problem?

To add context, Blackwing Lair is kind of fun to solo. I enjoy some of the Burning Crusade content. WLK is where it starts to get a little challenging. I'm interested if others enjoy this passtime and what you found to be most effective. Thanks!

Haven't seen anybody sing this thing's praises. As a Necrobinder player, I love it! 0 cost that you play every time you see, higher cost that are tougher to play (such as Deathbringer), or just must play cards that make it easier to play them. Thanks, Kifuda!

What do you guys think?
