Trivia: what was the restaurant called that is currently “Alexander’s” on 42?
We used to go there during college in the 90’s — I remember seeing Pat McGurdy there several times.

Syringe/Needle found on sidewalk
Found a syringe (empty) with a needle on the sidewalk in front of our house. I called the non-emergency BPD number and they said that’s not something they care/do anything about. I moved it with gloves/paper towel so no dogs or people step on the needle.
Any ideas about how to properly dispose?

We’re on the map!
Saw this on the Charleston sub. Nice to see we are on this list — and even ahead of Hartford and New Haven.

Advice to prep wall for painting
I’m planning to paint this wall, which runs along the side of our property, probably to match the color paint of our house. About halfway down the wall there’s a big crack that runs down to the drain. Is there a DIY way I can fill that crack before painting?

The delusion…
This post says that “Trump sacrificed his health and wealth to make America great.”
It’s always amazing to me that the different Americas live in such vastly different realities.
It makes me sad — because I don’t know how that schism ever gets mended.

my daughter is booked on the flight that was supposed to have taken off this morning from SYD to LAX (DL40), she just called in tears saying it was canceled. It still looks active (delayed) online... anyone have any thoughts?
Do you think Delta would put her on another airline? She has no where to stay if she has to wait a day.
