Ever almost finish a game the hard way, then happen upon an upgrade that would have made it easy?

Finally playing Sons of Sparta (am Dad, I have to be patient) and felt like I was getting close to the endgame, decided to run the map gathering olives and tributes before continuing only to >!immediately, at the very next screen, I kid you not, from where I decided to turn around, meet that bloody griffin who cheerfully announced I could now use any bloody camp fire in the game to move around… that would have saved me hours!< and those are hours I can’t afford to waste.

But this seems to happen to me every time I play anything. I always pick the path directly away from the treasure only to have to double back after my slog along the wrong route.

Guys, I need to know if this is fake??

What is with the flood of people just trying to authenticate controllers?

Has there been a sudden influx of suspect controllers into the market?

Is there some kind of shortage I'm unaware of that unscrupulous players are taking advantage of and exploiting innocent PlayStation fans?

It feels like every other post is "is this genuine?", "did I get scammed?", or "why does my controller smell faintly of despair?"

Also, I know I just changed the Boomerang logo for a PS logo but what an example of shocking controller design. Can't even chuck this one away... because boomerang.

edit: I guess nobody reads this bit... I do know this is not a PS controller.
