Why do servers complain about tipping out support staff

So YOU deserve a tip for providing service but the person who’s cleaning up after the customers, cleaning their dishes, making their drinks, and cooking their food doesn’t?

Looking back I think I was a bit entitled but they’re not entitled to tips either so it’s fair

I generally tip well but I didn’t leave a tip this time. But since I’m still pro tipping overall, I guess that’s what the flair will be.

Went to lunch with my mom. My mom takes insulin before her meals. Now my mom is vegetarian so she customized a meal and I had no problem paying extra for it. I got a vibe from the waitress that she wasn’t paying attention to the customizations my mom wanted. My mom took her insulin and was ready to start eating but the food got delayed by 45 minutes.

When it finally did come, it was completely messed up but at least there was no meat on it. My mom felt like she’d pass out so she ate half of it anyways but since it was messed up and not what she wanted she didn’t eat the other half. She was fine after that but didn’t feel like finishing her meal.

I called the server over and explained the entire situation. The server gave a nasty attitude about how she’d already ate half. I just smiled and said that’s fine.

Bill came out to $83. Normally would have tipped $20. But I tipped $0 and wrote a somewhat nasty message on the receipt.

Now that I’m not as pissed off, I guess it is true that we weren’t entitled to a free meal. But the entire situation really pissed me off, especially the nasty attitude from the waitress.

Ethics of limiting FND in private practice?

General neurology. My experience with FND has been such that these patients often require not only the longest appointments but also the most demanding messages and back and forth even in between appointments. This can massively disrupt workflow and limit revenue.

What are your thoughts on the ethics of limiting FND in PP by either screening patients beforehand (refusing to take patients that have been assigned functional by several other neurologists) or requesting high demanding FND patients to seek care elsewhere?

My personal thoughts are that pre-screening isn’t unethical given that a patient-physician relationship has not yet been established and is no different that not accepting someone in your insurance network. And requesting high demand FND patients to elsewhere will allow them to try another opinion.

Couldn’t beat the S&P 500 after 5 years

Still lost to the S&P 500 by 2%. All those nights and hours of worrying about my stocks and trying to research companies and earnings reports, and I would have been better off just putting it in the S&P 500.

Welp.

Does the way you rev match depend on what kind of bike you have?

I have an MT03 and I’ve been practicing for months. The only way I can get a smooth downshift is to rev match while holding the throttle on rather than just a quick blip. I then drove around my friend’s bike (GSX-8R) and that’s when doing a quick blip really worked for me.

Guys at party took up all the vegan food

Mostly a rant…..

Never met the guys before. It was a party at my friend’s house. Most of the food was non-vegan but someone brought a vegan dish (hummus and pita bread) and someone else came in with a pasta with cheese on the side so I had those options to eat.

Anyways, these guys at the party whom I really didn’t know much ate most of both dishes. I went to go get something from the vending machine downstairs and by the time I came back they’d scooped both dishes into their plates as “appetizers” before stuffing their faces with animal corpses.

EDIT: Just want to add that I’m not mad because they didn’t know I was vegan. I’ve been in situations before where someone eats all the vegan food on purpose to spite me and that really gets me fired up.

Got into an argument mid-hookup and left

Making this mostly as a rant. Yes I know this is my fault for not being careful and I need to get over the fact that catching an STD is just part of being a horny gay guy that fucks random dudes.

Long story short I’m not on doxy or prep right now. I’m allergic to doxy. And while I’m not allergic to prep the pills made my liver enzyme go up so I have to be on an injectable version. Due to switching jobs there was a lapse in my insurance so I’m not currently on the injection either.

Went to go hook up with a guy. Told him all about the prep/doxy thing beforehand. Told him I was tested a week ago and it was all negative. Asked if he was negative and he said yes and that he was on prep and doxy. I said great let’s do it.

So I get there. We kiss and get naked. I lube up and fuck him raw for a few minutes. Then I pull out and spread his cheeks to eat him out and notice there’s cum coming out of his hole.

Me: uh there’s cum coming out of your hole

Him: yeah some guy fucked me like 30 minutes ago

Me: uhhh, well was he negative at least?

Him: idk I don’t ask people since I’m on meds

Me: I literally told you I can’t be on meds right now….

Him: yeah I told you I was negative

Me: but what about the guy who fucked you?

Him: why does that matter?

Long story short I kinda blew up at him and just left. I agree it was partially my fault, especially fucking without a condom. But I’m kinda pissed off at the stupidity mostly.
