Im tired of being disappointed by Etsy purchases

I have been a seller on Etsy for almost a decade and I re sell vintage items like Pyrex and other home decor of the 50s-70s. And the way that I curate my items was and is always a top priority with detailed and informative and REAL photos and great quality. Id never sell something I wouldn't want. Etsy has changed sooooo much since I started selling and buying, they used to be so strict on what you could sell, and if you got multiple bad reviews you got flagged. Now its all AI generated photos and fake shops with temu resale drop shipped items, not to mention fake and payed for reviews. And it is EXHAUSTING to filter through everything. I am getting married in December and its been so discouraging trying to support "small handmade businesses" when all you get is crap. I purchased a veil that was almost $70 with great reviews and photos only to be met with a TERRIBLY constructed piece of garbage with terrible adhesive fake embroidery and sparce florals when the photos showed something so much better. I also purchased a nose ring to go with my ring, and it came today about 5x smaller than what was advertised and it was also $60... I know that there are so many probablems in the world and this is so first world to complain about. But im just so sick of getting scammed and there are more but I am to exhausted to list them... thanks for anyone who read my rant. I just remeber when shopping was fun and now it just gives me anxiety.

Engaged yesterday 7/7!!!

The love of my life asked me to be his wife yesterday. I am overjoyed. We have been together almost 4 years in September. We have been long distance, he is from Ontario, Canada and I live in Washington state he is also a lighting tech for live entertainment so also on the road a lot, but he chose east/west setting to symbolize our relationship. Our relationship is something I could have only dreamed could be a reality, and Im so excited for the next chapter, Im just so happy and wanted to share. Its a montana sapphire, 14k gold band, .88 carat, half bezel, east west setting. My fiancé custome made the entire thing, I had only told him I wanted a montana sapphire. I love how its tapered at the sides going to the top.

Satin or lace

Hello all, I am facing the dilemma I didnt know existed for all of us and now I need your help. Am I satin or am I lace? I always thought I would only want lace, but I have fallen in love with some satin gowns and love the classic look of them as well. My BFF who I was maid of honor for not too long ago says satin, my friend who went with me to this try on said lace. Our wedding is Dec 24th of this year, it is going to be an elopement in Canada as my fiance is Canadian, and then a dinner of about 10 people after, but the pictures I will have from the day are very important to me. Your opinions???? Thank you!!
