Hi, I'm wanting to learn calculus but at my HS we only have Pre-Calc and I won't be able to take that due to schedule limitations for next year (I'm a junior rn). I want to learn calculus so I can open up a way to learn physics and/or/maybe engineering in college. Plus I want to give myself something challenging to do on my own time while enjoying the fun classes in high school rn. I have a calculus book on the way currently. Thank you in advance.

Hi, I'm looking to be a volunteer firefighter when I turn 18 (and in turn also a senior in HS) and hopefully full time after HS, and I'm looking to know what I can do fitness wise at the gym and outside the gym to prepare for that. I've been going to the gym since March so 4 months, and I have basically a year till I turn 18 and able to volunteer. So any help and advice is helpful, thank you!

Hello everyone, I'm going to begin to posting here as a reminder to not relapse and to keep count of my progress. I'm going to quit the scum and become a better version of myself, as I should've done years ago. I'm happy to hear your guys' advice on how to improve my habits in order to avoid (not fight) the addiction.

Hi everyone, I'm C! And myself (Guitar, lyrics, and vocals), my older brother (bass), and friend A (drums) are doing our first show at the end of the month with a small set of 4 songs and 2 acoustic songs by myself for diversity. But in the mid July we got an opportunity to play a festival for a hour for about 11 or 12 songs. It depends on if they like our sound based on a demo but we've been hard at practice plus the June show will be like a little taste-test to prep us. And I was wanting to know what we can do to prepare for such a shift in playing environment? We're used to our local bar, bowling alley, VFW, and jam sessions (small stuff, we're local and take what we can get) but now we're pushing ourselves because we want and need this, so what can we do besides practice that will prepare us for this big show in July both mentally and professionally?
