My curly hair looks so ass

It’s just like so ugly… Like, I could get 2x more volume than this I just didn't really try today. But I don't even know what to do anymore. It's so flat on top, and the shape just looks weird.
Can you guys recommend any solutions?
I've already tried the curly haircut from TikTok, and I've tried throwing some strands over the crown to add volume, but it still looks flat and ugly.
Today I even tried using less volume and did that brush styling where you brush the crown up (idk what it's called 😭). What do I do?

Apparently I’m supposed to add my routine so:
- Bounce Curl Weightless Shampoo + Conditioner
- small smidge of bounce curl leave in container added to each section 5 min after shower
- brush styled it with the bounce curl define brush
-+ brush styled the crown separately from the rest of my hair so the top has its own section.
- air dried

Any airplane flash ideas?

Award for the worst title goes to me 🥇

Basically, I’m going on a 12-18 hr flight and I’m gonna be bored af + it’s in ECONOMY CLASS…. So I wanna bring a book or like a coloring book to occupy myself but the thing is, this flight almost always has its lights off since it’s in the night and for some reason everyone is always sleeping, meaning that I can’t turn my fricking light on or else I will get jumped (picture attached for reference). Any ideas/hacks for things I can bring that don’t blind ppl (I bought one of those reading lamp page-style things, but I still believe there must be a better option available. 😔

transferring to engineering

I was admitted to McMaster Humanities for Fall 2026, but lately I've been considering trying to transfer into Engineering. I have gone through it and I do know it's a very competitive process and that there are no guarantees, so I'm a bit nervous about my chances.

If anyone has gone through the transfer process (or knows someone who has), I'd love to hear about your experience. What should I focus on during first year to give myself the best chance of being accepted? Are there any specific things to make my application stronger? Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated because I'm really scared I might not get accepted.
