Terminator Captain with custom bolter

Hi everyone, I will be using this saturin praetor as my terminator captain,

I used the lions head

Which looks more Dark Angel, the pauldrons and cape or just terminator suit.

I havent attached the cape yet so I included a pic

More info

Converted hammer to power axe as the axe is considered a relic weapon for rules

Made a custom mounted storm bolter on arm so the model is what you see is what it has rules.

I am assuming this is allowed as it matches the terminator captain base and rules.

Would this pass for a Dark angel judiciar

As title says, I have kitbashed a judicar. Still have a lot of work to do but want to know if it looks like it would fit in as a Dark angel.

For the Lion and the Emperor.

Help with first Army

Hi everyone I would like opinion on my first army. For 1000 point 11th edition. First of I plan to paint every unit in a different Dark angel successor chapter to play into the joke that they are not a legion

1 terminator captain. I am actually using a saturine praetor as a proxy because I love the model

4 terminators, 2 with storm bolters and power fist 1 with assult cannon and chain fist, 1 with storm bolter and chainfist

1 terminator sergeant with power sword and storm bolter

squads of 5 intercessor, sergeant has a chain swords

3 blade guard veterans

1 judiciar

1 ballistus dreadnought

1 primaris repulsar.

3 elimiators sergeant has instigater bolt carbine

5 vanguard veterans with jumpack sergeant has plasma pistol

I will be using gladius task force. Termibator captain wil gave honor of vehemont abd the judicar will have artificer armor.

As I said this is my first army. I own every modrl but the repulsor and elimiators so if anyone can recommend different models before I buy them please let me know..

I appreciate any help

Gundam Bael upgrade

Hi everyone, since I seen everyones showing there own builds, I might as well show mine.

Im really big fan of IBO and the bael as a concept, but in person esp HG form the bael just looks so plain, so with this in mind I have created this kitbash.

The thought behind the build is keep the Bael silhouette but give it the more agressive look it deserves.

This is only the test fit but you get a feel for it.

Hg lupus body, Hg Bael head, shoulders, side skirts back pack with wings and bael back skirt with swords rack. It will be painted in the Baels colours

New player/help needed

As the title says I am a brand new player

I have been a fan of the 40k lore for years and am currently working my way through the HH books.

Anyway I have decided with 11th edition starting that I would try and make a 1000 point army for fun.

I would like some feed back on the following list. I currently have every model on the list but the dreadnought. Which I will order next week.

4 infernus marines and 1 infernus sergeant( see previous post I mads a custom sergeant)

5 terminators with attached terminator captain( I am actually using the saturine praetor as a proxy because honestly I love the look of it)

5 jump pack vanguard veterans

2 squads of 5 intercessors

ballistus dreadnought

3 blade guard with attached Primaris lieutenant with relic shield

If I am correct this army should total 955/965 in points

I have never played a game but I have watched a load of youtube matches and read up on the rules.

My question is will this be a good learning army plus could I expand it to a competitive one down the road.

Basically I am looking for feedback on my starter army. I know I have a weakness to vehicles so I am thinking of running two of my terminators with chain fists to rectify this a bit.

Also I am stuck what chapter/legion to go with, if anyone wants to sell me on thier chapter/legion that would suit this army please do

Any help appreciated.

Infernus Sergeant

I am new to the models side of the hobby but I have decided to build a 1000 point army to learn, this is my first attempt at a fun inferus sergeant kitbash. I know its not in fitting with the lore but I really like the look of it.

Would I be aloud use it this way if I declare before the match its a normal infernus sergeant?

I still have a load of work to do with and dreading the painting but I really want to learn
