The only reliable way to improve social habits is through an app

Every time I tried to improve my social skills by myself, I ended up worse than where I was before because I went from barely talking to some people to being socially awkward around them.

The reason that happened was because:

  1. I didn't know what specific parts of me were making me socially awkward and
  2. I wouldn't even know how to start.

The only good way to get past being socially awkward is to use an app that figures out your issue, and targets it.

Are there any good ways to improve my social skills?

Every time I try to improve my social skills, I only find some generic advice and nothing that really helps me understand myself.

Are there any apps/books/websites/habits that have helped you?

Would anyone actually want a social skills app?

I always had a hard time improving my social skills because there are just too many aspects to becoming a charismatic person.

There's body language, tone, what to even say, the wording, actually listening, following up, and the list goes on and on and on.

So would anyone use or not use an app that keeps track of progress, gets you into daily habits, targets your specific needs in a Duolingo-style app for social skills?

Does anyone else struggle with consistently being social?

One day I might be the most confident and social I've ever been, but then the next day I might struggle to even make a decent reply to someone.

Does anyone else have this problem and how can I stay social/confident?

How do I become more confident?

I'll be having a meal with a few peers I want to connect with, but more often than not I struggle with getting myself to say what I want to say.

I know that the issue isn't not knowing what to say because half the time somebody else says what i was thinking.

Can anyone help?

Any habits that helped you with improving body language?

I'm already not a very socially skilled person, and my body language isn't helping. I was wondering if anyone here could give me some advice on how to come off as more confident and relaxed.
