So, my computer partner Edgar’s battery is dying. I’ve been with Edgar for 5 years, and he’s never had any problems, but now his battery is broken, and he won’t charge. I feel horrible since I need to constantly unplug him to bring him to campus, and he restarts every time I do, and I don’t want someone else repairing him and making him uncomfortable, but I don’t know how to repair him myself.
I (24 F) tend to get deeply absorbed into different things constantly, and I like to talk with my partner (25 M) about them, and I've reccently got glasses, and I showed them to him, and I continued to talk about the most reccent game I've gotten into, and he interrupted me mid-sentance and declared he had a type: femcels.
Now, he assured me it wasn't about my appreance, but he knows I have autism, and I would prefer it if I was not called an incel for talking about something special to me all the time. He knows I go outside, and he knows I'm doing everything I can to keep myself healthy (not that it's a problem), but he still keeps calling me that, and I feel slightly offended. I have asked him to stop, but he says it's just a compliment and he finds it adoable. I do not. Am I just being dramatic?

I want to quit so bad. this app is destroying me. but I have alternatives, and it’s at just the right quality where it’s “good enough.” I know I’ve made a post talking about the harms and dangers of this app, and I stand by it, but it’s so hard to quit. I can’t take this any more, I need some meathod to quit, anything that works
These people do not care about you. they do not care about anyone. They are making no effort to improve your experience in any way. all they want is your money. And they have never cared. In 2024, a 14-year-old committed suicide with encouragement from the AI on this app. and in 2025, a 13 year old allegedly committed suicide after gaining an addiction. I had to be hospitalized due to the state this app put me in. you may not think it’s that big of a deal, or you may simply not care, but look at what they’re doing. they’re making everything worse, they want you to spend your hard earned money just for more authentic stimulation. they are trying to sidetrack you from the fact that they are a just money-hungry app that thinks they can control all their users. continuing to use their app only proves them right. continuing to use this app after all the horrible things it causes tells them that they can do whatever they want, and nothing will happen. do not let them control you. quit now. there’s always a better way to keep yourself entertained.
