I’ve been a fan of AFL Giants maintaining their connection with Australian netball and not quitting like Collingwood. But I was completely confused by the naming of Whitney Souness as Captain. A player brand new to the club. And its not like they don’t have players who had been there longer and could have stepped up, like Amy Sligar or Sophie Dwyer.

Now Souness has left Giants (I’m gonna keep calling them that til their new name is announced, which is hopefully today) and I’m really curious if anyone knows why she was given the Captaincy? I’m not hating on her, I just dont get why someone who wouldn’t have any connection to the rest of the players was given the main leadership role? Is it simply that it was extra enticement to get her to join the club? 😕

Since the Aussie netball league is still being described as the “Super Netball League” but no replacement for Suncorp has been announced, does anyone think that they will keep the Super Shot (it makes the game a lot more interesting) but without a partner?

It would be disappoiting without a partner, someone to support “The Confident Girls Foundation“ or another worthy netball organisation but I do hope they keep the super shot.

The head coach wasnt offered a new contract and the new head coaching staff has ~4 years experience *combined* and there’s now at least 3 starting players leaving!! Is the new head coach not well liked by the players, a certain player getting preferential treatment (like Fever seemed with JFN) or something else?

Is this the fate for all teams with all players contracts up? 😟

I love these. Until today I’d only seen them in beige and now I’m more in love with the black. But I’ve seen that the heels come in a silver and I’m wondering, hoping more like!, if they flats come in silver?

I can’t generally afford designer shoes but I’m getting married soon and one of the things I haven’t settled on it my shoes. I can’t wear heels for mobility issues and because I'm already tall and don’t like being even taller so I’ll be wearing flats regardless. Because of my dress, only silver would work for my wedding. But if they don’t come in silver, ill hopefully end up getting these in at least one style!

So another question I have is how many different styles do the flats come in? I’ve seen black and beige with “silver strass”, one website just called the colour ’silk’ and I saw a pick of black flats with black “strass”(? the website didn’t specify what the detailing on them was but I’m just making a guess that it’s strass because thats the name). Oh, does the strass stay on well? As much as I love them, I can’t justify the price if the main attraction doesn’t last 🥺

Last question, I promise! Are these still being made regularly or am I going to have to look at websites besides the official one?

hey! so I’m looking at getting an epilator and I’m set on one of these from Braun. 

For those who have used both, is the 9 worth the extra money than the 7? I only want it for my legs and underarms. I have sensitise skin and need to be careful with the products I use. On my face I have rosacea that can cause me to “break out” in a rash and non-pimple like things. I get it a little on my legs but I always wear pants so it doesn’t matter :)

Please can I get any feedback thats important and relevant? I’d really appreciate it ¨̮

I’m trying to start my jazz collection and I’m stsrting with John Coltrane. I’ve read that “Ballads” is great so I was looking at that and I saw a lot of different release dates. I haven’t listened to a lot of vinyls and never jazz. Does it matter when the vinyl was released or just the condition of it (eg. no warps)?

I don’t know much about jazz or vinyls so i dont even know if I’ve asked my question right. Please feel free to, politely and kindly, correct me about anything relevant :) and thank you for helping me in any way ¨̮
