Need Guidance
Im starting my BTech in AI and Data science in a tier 2 college and im trying to figure out how to structure my first two years
Right now, I know Python reasonably well and I wanna get better at it by building projects rather than just tutorials. The problem is C is mandatory in my college and I don't know C at all. On top of that obvio I need to learn DSA eventually, and im not sure how to balance everything without trying to learn 5 things at once.
My main questions are:
how would you structure the first two years if you were starting again?
should I learn C and Python simultaneously or focus on C first and keep Python mainly for projects?
when should I properly start DSA and what language should I go for?
how much time should I spend on projects and DSA (equal time or more weightage to dsa)
what skills do you think are actually worth having by the end of 2nd year for internships?
are there any things beginners commonly waste their first year learning that I should avoid?
I would really appreciate advice from people who have already gone through the first 2 years of CS/Engineering in tech related branches
