I recently received my Amex Platinum Reserve card and want to complete the ₹30,000 spend required to earn the welcome bonus of 11,000 Membership Rewards points and the additional 8,000 points.
I have an insurance premium of ₹25,500 due. I’m looking for the best way to pay it while also earning the regular base Membership Rewards points.
One option I was considering is buying Amazon Pay gift vouchers using my Amex card and then using my existing ₹10,000 Amazon Pay balance plus the newly purchased balance to pay the premium. However, I’m not sure whether Amazon Pay allows insurance premium payments above ₹25,000.
Are there any better alternatives that would help me meet the spending requirement while still earning the base rewards?
