High Tide Mission Pointers Request
New to the game at 20 hours. Used to play the board game 35 years ago and just found it.
Currently stuck on the High Tide. I can wipe the enemy base, but always lose my base. Looking for a winning strategy. TIA

From an electrical and electronics perspective the PCIe 12VHPWR connector is a foolish way to accomplish the task of passing 600 watts of 12VDC 18” from the power supply to the appliance. Especially when Anderson Power Poles and XC60 connectors already exist.
I don’t know any EE that would say “Let’s move 50A of 12VDC over a dozen 18AWG wires with pins and sockets that are barely adequate on both ends.” Planned obsolescence is the only explanation.
Not to mention, how dope would it look to have 2-3 pairs of 10AWG power cables feeding your GPU?
Does anyone know what model case this is?

Post Mother’s Day activities (which Goodwill was one of) I got to hook up the L100’ to my test system Sansui 5500. I hooked up the first speaker and the mid and tweeter didn’t function. I was bummed for a. Minute then I thought to twist one of the pots. Life! I twisted all the pots back and forth about 20 times and all drivers now function. They dusted off ok, but will eventually need a light refinish and I’ll address the crossovers as needed.
I’m super stoked as these were one of my bucket list speakers. Now I just need a set of Series II Forte’s.
I’m only a couple songs in, but enjoying them so far.
