Ash ketchum is frankly just a shitty imitation of pokemon trainer red, I have a love hate relationship with ash and even when I can enjoy him as a character I will always know that red is better.

Red is the main character from the gen 1 pokemon games, ash is just red but with the most generic shonen anime protagonist personality “I’m a hotheaded young kid and I’m gonna prove I’m the best, I love fighting and eating and training with my friends”, Indistinguishable from luffy, Naruto, or any other shonen anime main character.

Ash is retired, the pokemon franchise has moved on from him, they want nothing to do with him anymore, they have even replaced him, because the pokemon anime is continuing without him.

The pokemon anime is not worth clinging to over the games.

This rant mainly exists because of the new Lego pokemon sets, they have been about the games and not the anime, we have already revealed a Lego minifigure of trainer red, and I keep seeing people say that it should’ve been ash.

I’m tired of seeing people discuss these sets and the franchise as a whole and all I see is ash, Jessie, and James, people miss them but they’re not worth missing when the games versions of them are just better in every way.

It’s like most pokemon fans don’t even play the games, they just watched the anime as a kid and now like fifty percent of all discussion around this franchise is just “I miss ash. Who do you ship with ash? What’s your favorite of ash’s companions? What’s your favorite of ash’s pokemon? Is ash coming back in pokemon horizons?”

Honestly the anime should’ve just been an adaptation of the pokemon adventure manga, the main characters change to whoever is the main character of the game the manga is adapting, and it adapts the games story much better than the anime.

There’s plenty of reasons to hate this country, it has lots to do with politics but I’m trying to keep this non political so that my post doesn’t get taken down, mods please don’t take my post down :(

All of the “bad reasons” or hate this country are generalizations of all of the people here, or factually incorrect statements made by people who have never been here or never even met someone from here.

I love American culture and history, we are the American mixing pot, I love all of the people who have come to my country and brought pieces of other cultures with them, it has made my country more diverse and better.

I see this sentiment often that “america has no culture” or that “American culture is bad” but that is wrong.

I also see people hate Americans in general, common talking points are that we’re “all ignorant” or that “we all think the world revolves around us”, you can’t just generalize an entire country of people like that.

And finally “all American food is unhealthy”, for some reason people think that all Americans eat is mcdonalds, people only eat mcdonalds because it’s convenient.

Will there ever be an upscaled ko of this figure, and does anyone know where the cad files for it are

If I or anyone else could get the cad files for the figure, they could be converted into stl files, so that they could be 3d printed, modified, and upscaled.

No disrespect to the artist, they make good art, but I hate when I’m looking for their good art I happen upon this and I’m tired of it.

This goes out to anyone who doesn’t understand how the thing works

The thing from the movie John carpenters the thing, and the prequel from 2011 is a misunderstood creature.

The thing is you, it takes your body for itself, it is you down to the last small detail except for non biological material like piercings or fillings but that’s more from the prequel

If it was in a human host for example, if it wanted to eat it would use its human mouth and teeth to chew the food, and then use the human digestive track to digest the food, it isn’t a thing in human skin it’s a thing in a human body,

it doesn’t have thing tentacles and thing teeth lying in wait right under its human skin, it has human flesh and human organs under its human skin, it can make thing teeth and thing tentacles but it doesn’t just have them ready.

Also if you haven’t watched John carpenters the thing please go do that it’s an amazing movie it has Kurt Russel and Keith David in it. If you can’t watch it then at least watch the kill count of it by dead meat on YouTube.
