No disrespect to the artist, they make good art, but I hate when I’m looking for their good art I happen upon this and I’m tired of it.

This goes out to anyone who doesn’t understand how the thing works

The thing from the movie John carpenters the thing, and the prequel from 2011 is a misunderstood creature.

The thing is you, it takes your body for itself, it is you down to the last small detail except for non biological material like piercings or fillings but that’s more from the prequel

If it was in a human host for example, if it wanted to eat it would use its human mouth and teeth to chew the food, and then use the human digestive track to digest the food, it isn’t a thing in human skin it’s a thing in a human body,

it doesn’t have thing tentacles and thing teeth lying in wait right under its human skin, it has human flesh and human organs under its human skin, it can make thing teeth and thing tentacles but it doesn’t just have them ready.

Also if you haven’t watched John carpenters the thing please go do that it’s an amazing movie it has Kurt Russel and Keith David in it. If you can’t watch it then at least watch the kill count of it by dead meat on YouTube.

The comic has obviously focused on the transformers on earth, but we haven’t seen at all what has been going on on cybertron.

So far we have had small glimpses of cybertron like when ultra magnus got rescued, or in this new issue. There’s one thing these two situations have in common which is powerful high ranking decepticons.

Elita might look unjustified but from what we’ve seen so far she has fought on cybertron for millions of years, and the decepticons she has assumedly been up against are very powerful, bruticus only recently left cybertron and shockwave only recently came back, but they were definitely there for the millions of years Elita has been fighting

If we had her side of the story, the side where she has fought shockwave, the combaticons, tons of seekers, all of the decepticons that just got introduced, and who knows who else, there’s still tons of decepticons out there, there could be more combiners or entire titans like trypticon.

What I’m saying is we should just wait and see what cybertron is like, if it turns out to be all sunshine and rainbows then Elita was entirely wrong, but if what she has been up against is as bad as the decepticons on cybertron have been so far, mark my words it’ll be enough to justify most of her actions.

Maybe I’m just talking nonsense trying to justify each comic to myself.

Also elita trying to pry open the matrix recently getting demonized is stupid, other characters have done it before and they haven’t gotten demonized like this.
