So this is random but how can I still feel connected to the craft after a hysterectomy?

I’m looking for some advice and perspectives from other witches, especially anyone who’s had a hysterectomy or gone through menopause.

I’m due to have a hysterectomy because of severe endometriosis and adenomyosis (more the adeno as I'm aware endo can and does still grow after a hysterectomy), and while I know it’s the right medical decision, I’m really struggling with the spiritual side of it.

This is quite personal, but a lot of my practice has always been connected to the idea of divine femininity and the natural rhythms of the menstrual cycle. I’m scared that once I no longer have a monthly cycle, I’ll somehow feel disconnected from that part of myself.

Logically, I know that being a woman isn’t defined by having a uterus or periods and not all those who practice are women. But emotionally, I’m finding it much harder to believe that. I’m frightened that I’ll stop feeling feminine, or even feel like I’m “less of a woman,” and that those feelings will affect how I connect with my craft.

For those of you who’ve been through this, or who practise without having a menstrual cycle for any reason, how did your practice change? Did you find new ways to connect with the divine feminine or with the cycles of nature? Are there traditions, rituals, or ways of thinking that helped you?

I’d really appreciate hearing your experiences. I’m not looking for medical advice—just honest perspectives from people who’ve walked a similar path

All the meds I have to take just to survive..

So we have from left to right-
-co-codamol 30/500s on a good day I don't have to take all 8 but the good days are becoming less and less frequent
-Mefenamic acid- although everywhere it says to only take while bleeding my GP seems to think I can take it like ibuprofen so I do.
-the box is my estrogen spray -4 of them a day (add back HRT for the Yselty)
-the pink bottle is CBD oil

In the pill pot we have my-
7.30am meds-
-calcium 400mg,
-omega 3 (helps with uterine contractions in theory)
-lanzoprazol (to protect my stomach against the Mefenamic acid)
-antihistamine (new research suggests these can help with the added inflammation due to endo)

11:30am-
-Calcium 400mg (this is to protect my bones from the side effects of Yselty- this dose was prescribed by my gyne and I have to have quarterly blood tests due to the high level 1600mg daily)
-Omega 3
-turmeric and black pepper extract (this is also for inflammatory suppression)

4:30pm meds-
-Calcium 400mg
-Omega 3
-Tumeric and black pepper extract

9:30pm meds-
-Calcium 400mg
-combined Magnesium (for sleep and brain fog)
- Valarina (for sleep, I also have a cup of valarian and chamomile tea)
- Yselty (POM from Gyne- induces chemical menopause although I'm still having monthly cycles so unsure if it's working)
-Progesterone 100mg (add back HRT for the Yselty)
-Mirabegron (to help my bladder symptoms but again don't think this is working..)

And still I'm in agony.. but it does take the edge off.. I'm currently in between GYNEs and Urologists as my care has been transferred from my local endo clinic to St Thomas's and Guys hospital in London due to the complexity's... so I only have my GP to talk to about my symptoms..

I just don't know what else to try- so if you read this far and have any suggestions please drop them below!

From a very exhausted and fed up British 25 year old x

▲ 3 r/GCSE

I'm looking to redo my English, math, biology, chemistry and physics GCSEs in a mature student (I'm 25) who will be self teaching I need to be getting 7-9s. I know I can as when I was at school I was predicted 8-9s but I fell pregnant at 15 and was sent to a senco school by my normal school.

What are the best exam boards for me?

Where is the best place to take the actual exam?

Any other advice?

TIA!
