TURBO FAILURE AFTER 20k MILES CKRA TDI GTC1556vz turbo only 1 year old.

Yeah so I pretty much got screwed. I got a gtc1556vz turbo and within 19,000 miles my turbo failed. I do oil changes every 3-5k miles, the car has never overheated, any oil or coolant problems I get fixed immediately and the car has never been driven in bad conditions I get everything fixed immediately. What the cause was, the stock map sensor on these cars is a 3bar or 27-29psi max. I ordered a 4 bar map sensor for this turbo and the tuner refused to tune for it and said it’s not necessary and that the car can run on the stock sensor, well that slowly was causing unknown overboost issues and destroying the turbo over time, cutting the lifespan by 80%. This turbo should’ve lasted 150k + miles especially on my setup. So this wasn’t my mistake, but DO NOT MAKE THIS MISTAKE IT WILL COST YOU THOUSANDS IF YOU GET TURBO FAILURE.

Largest sales order in recent history, prove me otherwise!

Prison order for $17,000 split between my location and another location, $8,500 each. Mainly stuffed crust pep, deep dish 3 meat, also had supreme, bread, classic pep, hundreds and hundreds of those. We have done this every year for the past 5 years for the same prison. Happens on the same week as Super Bowl and we reach $50,000+ that week in sales alone, we do $40,000 a week on average at my location so 50k is definitely up there in the top tier of all little Caesar’s.

If you own or modify a ckra tdi click this

Most parts or aftermarket parts for the ckra tdi are plastic, I have a high boost ckra tdi and I can’t find a billet aluminum valve cover anywhere and no cnc shop is willing to make one. But ExergyPerformance is a company that makes a billet valve cover for CJAA tdi’s, and I believe if enough ckra owners inquire to them about a billet valve cover, that they will be more willing to make it in bulk to sell to many of us. I’ve already reached out to them and they said for a one off piece it would be way too expensive, but if they get enough people asking for it they may be willing to create a bunch. It would run roughly the same price around $500-700 as the cjaa one that they currently sell. I’m just trying to get as many people as possible to reach out to them and ask so that way they can bring this to market.

Not a single cnc or machine shop in AZ can make me a custom billet valve cover for my CKRA TDI

I have a 2014 Passat Tdi (ckra spec) and there are absolutely 0 aftermarket valve covers for my spec, there is only the plastic replacement. There is a CJAA tdi billet valve cover made by Exergyperformance and it’s almost in spec with mine but no one makes one for ckra. I’ve reached out to 4 machine and cnc shops here in Arizona and not a single one can make me a billet valve cover. I see people 24/7 with custom valve covers but now it’s impossible to make a custom one for a 4 cylinder? I’ve even reached out to shops that claim they do “one off projects” or “custom projects” for Specific builds yet all of them said they can’t do it.
