I dont mean this to be an insulting question but I’ve lived in 6 different countries (US, Aus, South Africa, Greece, Germany, Scotland) and with the exception of South Africa (where you could barely find tofu), Aus has the fewest vegan products available in the grocery stores.

It’s weird to me because Aussies seem pretty environmentally conscious so I would think there would be more demand and it’s a wealthy country where I would think there would be room for investment in developing plant based products…. but there is only a tiny selection in the grocery stores.

I’m not sure if it’s just because I moved here recently and there seems to be a global trend against veganism so maybe options are disappearing in other places too.

online it says 1-2 days but i didn’t get around to eating it. was originally going to make poke but given the circumstances i’m thinking to sear it instead.

for what it’s worth i have a pretty strong stomach generally. i used to backpack and ate street food in india and never got food poisoning so thinking this can’t be much worse lol.

I’m a dual citizen of the US and Austria and Im considering going to Cuba. I’m visiting family in the states right now and I found a flight that leaves from NYC, however I’ve been reading it’s illegal for a US citizen to visit Cuba for tourism purposes. Should I avoid taking the flight from NYC? Will this be an issue if I fly from outside of the country and enter with my other passport?

I tried with updoc and wrote that I wanted them to call me as its required however they did not and just immediately granted certificate.

I've now submitted the certificate which was prob a mistake as apparently I now can't submit another if I try a different provider. It doesn't say whether or not there was a phone call, just that I am unfit to sit the exam. It says it takes two days to see whether my exam is approved and my exam is tomorrow, meaning I likely have to decide whether or not to go without knowing if it was approved. The exam is worth 50% and without it I will not score high enough to take a supplementary assessment.

Am I fucked?

I don't really understand the storyline with Carm trying to get Tony to donate 50k to the uni. She complains that he gives money to Angie Bonpensaro but "won't make sure his own daughter is protected" and Tony responds that he knows too much about extortion.

What exactly is the donation meant to be protecting her from/how is the uni extorting him? It seems like she's doing well at uni and there's no threat to kick her out or anything.
