Sometimes I play this game as "intended," with a cute Sim and a happy family. Other times I get bored of that and CREATE GOATPOCALYPSE

Random tip: start with a blank save file, then build as you go!

If you’re tired of having to wait hours, or creating some neighbourhood lores with existing sims, or your own sims, try playing a blank save file!

All you have to do is download one (I got mine from Srslysims), place them on the saves folder, and play!

Even better:

-You are in control of whichever lot you choose, you can put them from the gallery, or build (and make them even cheaper than the default houses!)

-Loading screen times and gameplay lag is faster! —mine went 3x faster, because all of the lots are obviously empty. Normally it took 2-3 minutes for my save to load minus the main menu. It now took 30-60 seconds!

Another tip: If you have a pack with a world included, make sure to:

-toggle it off, restart, load the save file.

-After that, toggle it back on, then restart and load the save (again), so that you can get sooommme houses from that pack!

Just wanted to share some tips to run smoother gameplay!

So I decided to go through my old Sims gameplay recordings, only to find this madness of a gameplay.

It was recorded August 2025, and I just built this tight recreation centre for my 100 random townies (by teleporting and locking the doors).

I think I went evil with my Sims and played around with the Get to Work satellite, plus some mods (MCCC, some shift-click mods...)

The result: Everybody lining up and crowding the washroom until there's a fire in one of the kitchens, causing everyone to head to the kitchen (in true Sims fashion).

This is just the beginning, I have more of those old recordings if you want...😏
