I made a lot of Algerian online friends recently and one thing I noticed is that many people now naturally mix Darija with English, or even speak fully in English between Algerians. Meanwhile older generations seemed much more connected to French.

Another thing I noticed is that a surprisingly big number of Algerian Reddit users seem to be from western Algeria. Maybe cities like Oran and Tlemcen are more present online? Or maybe it’s just my own experience.

Do you agree with these observations or is it just the type of people Reddit attracts in Algeria?

Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about relationships and my perspective has changed

I used to see relationships as something serious with expectations emotional investment and long term thinking but now I feel like I’m more in a phase where I just want something simple and light no pressure no labels no complicated emotional responsibilities

I’m not really looking for something deep right now just casual connections good vibes and mutual attraction without overthinking everything or planning the future

I’m also honest about the fact that I’m mainly attracted to women for physical pleasure and not really seeking emotional attachment at this stage

I know this mindset might not fit everyone and some people prefer serious commitment and that’s totally fine I’m just at a point where I prefer clarity from the beginning instead of pretending it’s something serious when it’s not
