Need recommendations!

So we're looking for a car (preferably automatic but manual works) for 10-11L. I have shortlisted some cars and the reason for shortlisting them, please suggest me what to go for:

  1. Skoda kylaq - surprisingly spacious (imo) and since my family is quite tall we were able to fit into both the front and back comfortably. The looks were also quite good and overall very comfortable especially the seats.

2.Hyundai Venue - quite a good interior and spacious as well, I personally also liked the looks and fit and finish. Overall, plain, simple and reliable from what I've researched and read.

  1. Kia Sonet- getting automatic for quite cheap, the car looks and feels quite similar to the venue but I'd say it felt better to drive with more grunt. I also enjoyed the slightly dated interior as compared to the venue.

  2. Honda Amaze - overall a phenomenal car, could ask for a better interior but ig I'm getting more than what I'm paying for at that price point, especially the reliable engine and features like lane change camera and CVT gearbox

  3. Hyundai i20 - although I have not personally checked it out yet, it seems like a really good car for the price and with an automatic gearbox too.

Our use case is pretty much 90-10, 90 percent in the city and the rest are trips, also we won't be driving THAT frequently, it's primarily going to be for day to day activities like shopping and appointments and ofc night time leisure drives. Do consider that 3-4 people are to be accomodated at a time and it's essential that the car is comfortable. Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated, but it's been a long search and days of research and showroom visits so I'd appreciate if y'all just choose one unless I'm missing some obvious choice (don't say maruti please)

Thank you

Is the kylaq worth it?

I need an automatic for primarily city driving

3-4 people need to be seated

We are tall (most of us are 6 plus)

And comfort would be appreciated

Any help/suggestions are appreciated (budget 10-12L)

Spray painting your bike

Is it possible to spray paint your bike by removing certain parts that you wish to paint?

This is considering the fact that bikes barely have any panels whatsoever so getting it wrapped is a complex affair especially if you just want a simple single colour

So, why not just spray paint it yourself?

This idea came up when I went to my local DIY and saw some really cool colours in spray paints. Obviously, they may not be ideal for bikes but the idea did come up

Please do not call me dumb, its a genuine query

Thank you!

D400 BS6 engine rattling sound

So I have a dominar 400 BS6 2022 and it has done roughly 9800kms only.

Recently I did a simple oil change and since I've done it there's a rattling sound that comes up after 5-6k RPM. It's there when the bike is idle too and it gets louder when I'm riding it in the upper rev range.

I have tried my best to understand why this sound is coming but to no avail. Moreover the sound issues of the D400 that are addressed on YouTube are distinctly different from the one that's coming in my case

For context the sound comes from the front half of the bike (might be the engine but it's hard to pin point) and it's a very random and inconsistent rattling, like metal clinking together for example.

Unfortunately since the sound only appears at higher rev ranges, any video I take does not capture it clearly enough to understand.

Any help, tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Thank you

Weird sound and other queries

I have a Bajaj Dominar 400 2022 BS6

Recently I had bad engine oil and gave it to my local mechanic where I get everything done from for an air filter clean and engine oil change

Afterwards, the bike started making a clinking sound at high RPMs (above 5-6k) at both idle and at speed. The sound was feint so I suspected he put less engine oil so I took it back, but he said that he put the prescribed amount despite me checking at home and it not being much (according to me and my poor knowledge)

The display in the engine gets full when the bike is upright so the oil can't be critically low and the performance of the bike is exactly the same as it was before so I can't say for sure if it's an engine problem

I asked a few friends who said that something small like a screw or something might be loose as the sound comes from the front and not necessarily the engine

I might just be overthinking but any help is appreciated

For your information the mileage of the bike prior to engine oil and air filter change was just 20Km/L which is less, and I'm not sure how much it is as of now

The bike has done just 9700 Kms which isn't that much, the chain is clean and I have no other issues as of now except the sound and mileage (which might get better)

P.S I did all this from a local mechanic because the service center has scammed me prior to this and charged unnecessarily extra for below par oil and service, plus the bike hasn't even done 10k so engine issues are scary this early

Any help is appreciated, kindly reply

Thanks!
