Complaint

I've had a very bad experience with Qatar Airways & i raised it as a complaint in a email & through there website over 6 weeks ago & I got a email earlier today with a load of bull & taking no accountability or understanding of what they put me through. I got a email from the customer relations yet when i asked can I escalate this further or could he provide the details to whom in Qatar Airways will take a proper look at this case but he said unfortunately that he is customer relations & there is no options to escalate this further. Would this be correct or is there any options on how they handled this case?

Sim Card

Hi All,

Just looking for some advice please.

I'll be arriving to Koh Samui early June & i have the option to use my own sim card with Vodafone & get add on's from them to allow me use data while travelling in Koh Samui for 14 nights or should I buy a local sim card as I'm nervous that when I arrive I'll have no access to data to continue my trip or what advice would you suggest?

Also note my phone is unlocked so I can use any sim card.

MotorBike Hire question?

Hi All,

I'm travelling to Koh Samui from Ireland soon & I'm gonna be looking to hire a 50cc bike etc to have a look around the island but I'm wondering if my Irish driver license with full car & category B cover this or do I need something else before going over ?

Hi,

I spoke to Qatar Airways just a couple of minutes ago about upgrading to business class & they told me if i go into Google there is a website to register for upgrades if they n become available other than doing it on the app then the call dropped & i was on hold for over 30 minutes trying to get through so taught I'd ask here as might get the answer quicker. Is anyone aware of how to register for business class incase they become available?

Hi,

I'm 40 years of age & male to start with.

I have a upcoming trip booked for June & travelling by myself doing my first solo holiday.I booked it a couple of months ago as life is short & I feel I have to live life to the fullest yet lately I'm just nervous about going out on my own to restaurants & into bars / clubs on my own. While I understand others will be alone it still has me thinking should I go or just cancel the whole trip or am I over thinking this?

I'm just not sure what to expect but I do like to go out for food , bars , clubs etc.

Thank you for any input ☺️

I'm travelling solo to Koh Samui in June & first time travelling so far on my own so quite a exciting yet nervous time as I need to make sure i have the itinerary right or as close.

My total stay in Koh Samui is 12 nights with 6 nights in Chaweng & 6 nights in Lamai.

I choose these places as I am interested to go out for the nightlife in Chaweng & see what it is like given it's the liveliest part of the island.

I then choose Lamai as from see photo's & reading about it etc it came across as still plenty to see & do for a solo traveller.

I'm interested in seeing the best view points, nice beaches, exploring cafes etc, meeting others & maybe a day trip or two to Koh Phangan.

After reading so much lately lots of feedback saying 7 nights is enough in Koh Samui.

What would you recommend?

Feel free to ask any questions & sorry if it i haven't given enough information.
