Parenting advice

Hi,

I'm just wondering has anyone being in a similar situation or possibly could advise me.

A number of years ago I found my wife to be cheating on me while our children where 9 & 10 years of age. When I found out I approached her about it & she started to become psycial to me & not allowing me to sleep etc which included turning the tv on at as a example 3 am or 2 am knowing I was up for work at 4am for work etc.

I ended up going as part of the divorce to court & i signed my part of the house over to her as in my mindset I wanted my children to be safe with a roof over there head & not get caught up in what was going on in the background.

For the last number of years I have tried phoning my children & I've got no response from either of them & I got a text message from my daughter approximately 2 years ago telling me never to contact her again.

I regularly try phoning my son as he is now 20 years of age but the phone just rings out.

I do email there mam & ask can she tell me how my children are bit she says if at all that they are adults & contact them yourself.

Yet I have had no contact with them for years & I regularly try & would take any opportunity to explain to them why I left the house & remind them how I feel about them & I am always thinking of them.

I also went to court a number of years ago for access & the judge said because they are both adults they cannot be forced to speak or see me.

Has anyone any advice how I can try get in contact with them please or any idea's what I can do?

Thank you in advance

Accommodation Advice

If you had to choose one property whether hotel or Bungalow & in Chaweng for 10 day's starting on October 27th and preference is for quieter end of Chaweng beach & sea view preference what accommodation would you choose?

Also has to be relatively close to the center of Chaweng as that is where I will spend my evenings.

During the day I will possibly just spend it on the beach.

I'm travelling solo so a 1 bedroom is enough.

My budget is maximum €850.

Any help would be much appreciated ☺️

Area recommendations

Hi,

I'm travelling over to Koh Samui at the end of September for 14 night's & this will be my second time here.

I'm travelling alone & am 41 years of age.

I will spend maybe 7/8 night's in Chaweng to finish my trip before heading home but I'm looking for Recommendations on what area to stay as I've be reading online & still can't make up my mind.

I like spending my day on the beach with cafe options in the area & for the evening late bars & places where I can meet other solo traveller's etc.

I stayed in Lamai the last time for 5/6 night's & i felt the evenings very quiet & a very small area also but would be open to this area again if I found the right accommodation.

My budget for the total accommodation will be €1000 & beachfront bungalow is my preference.

Any help would be much appreciated thank you ☺️

Hotel/Bungalow recommendations

Hi,

I'm just looking for any recommendations.

I'm travelling to Chaweng myself for 10 night's in October & trying to book my accommodation now.

I've being looking on booking.com & just can't see something that appeals to me as my budget is €1000 & I'm looking for accommodation close to the beach & preferably a nice big pool & not a type is over crowded type of pool if you get me as.

I don't mind meeting other people etc but my preference is for a nice big pool or also the possibility of private pool with the accommodation I don't mind.

Any Recommendations please?

Thailand recommendations

Hi,

I'm travelling to Bangkok from Ireland at the end of September for two week's & i have a 14 night options with mainly Koh Samui I'm interested in yet maybe 14 nights might be to much here?

I'm male & 40 & a solo traveller who has interests in being close to the beach, restaurants, cafes, bars possibly in the evening to play pool & maybe meet other solo traveller's.

I was in Koh Samui before & stayed in Lamai & Chaweng & both where good spots yet I'm not sure if possibly another part of the island would be as interesting & would have as nice beach as those two area's?

I also considered doing Koh Tao or Koh Phangan for possibly 3 night's.

What itinerary suggestions would you recommend?

Thank you in advance ☺️

2 week Koh Samui trip

Hi,

I am planning on going to Koh Samu as a solo travelleri at the end of September & it is my second time visiting.

When i was last there i stayed in Lamai & Chaweng.

I am 40 years of age & enjoy going out for drinks in the evening & chilling out with also nice restaurant's & options during the day.I also enjoy being close to the beach.During the day I'm not into craziness & more of a chilled out pool or beach would be ideal also.

I will have 14 nights in Koh Samui & I'm wondering if I should do 7 Lamai & 7 in Chaweng as possibly 14 in Chaweng might be to much.

What would you do as obviously weather & moving islands into October is going to be a factor?

Any advice would be welcome please ☺️

Bangkok/Koh Samui

Hi,

I have flights booked from Ireland-Bangkok but I haven't booked the last part yet which is the Bangkok-Koh Samui flight as I'm trying to decide simply will I stay in Bangkok for maybe 2 nights then fly onwards to Koh Samui or is there possibly another place i could try going from Bangkok?

My total duration that I have is 14 nights between arriving in Bangkok & returning home through Bangkok.

Any idea's on what I could consider?

I'm a solo traveller aged 40 & have a interest in viewing beautiful beaches, watching sunsets, meeting other solo traveller's,cafés,restaurants & pretty much a chilled out mindset.

Any questions feel free to ask thank you in advance ☺️

Aircraft type

Hi,

I'm looking to travel to Koh Samui Thailand from Dublin Ireland next couple of months but the issue is that one thing I really want to experience is the A380 800 as it's on my bucket list.

The issue is flying from Dublin-Doha & then Doha Bangkok is a 777 or 787 or the A380 is only a night time flight and arrival time in Bangkok is also early morning so still dark out so I wouldn't get to see much and getting photo's etc is something I wanted to get as this is a one off trip for me.

Any recommendations any other options how I can go on the A380 but during day time hours or light hours & I'm open to changing the flight itinerary also as I've looked at flying from other European cities but timing doesn't work.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

I'm travelling to koh Samui in a couple of weeks & the last time I was there i stayed in hotel in Chaweng.

This time travelling I'd love to try a villa or bungalow so I'm looking for recommendations based on one of these in or within walking distance to Chaweng central.

It will just be me travelling & again either a pool or close to the beach would be my preference.

Any Recommendations please?

Budget is about €1000 for 13 nights.

Thank you in advance ☺️

Aircraft recommendations

Hi,

I'm trying to plan a trip to Koh Samui from Dublin but I've a few options with different airlines & yet I've never flown with Emirates so I'm leaning towards them or Etihad.

From Dubai or Phuket I can fly using the A350-1000 or there is also a couple of options using the A380.

Any Recommendations on the best aircraft to try & possible route please?

Thank you in advance ☺️

Complaint

I've had a very bad experience with Qatar Airways & i raised it as a complaint in a email & through there website over 6 weeks ago & I got a email earlier today with a load of bull & taking no accountability or understanding of what they put me through. I got a email from the customer relations yet when i asked can I escalate this further or could he provide the details to whom in Qatar Airways will take a proper look at this case but he said unfortunately that he is customer relations & there is no options to escalate this further. Would this be correct or is there any options on how they handled this case?
