I Love Naps
I truly enjoy a short little rest most days but... a nap on a rainy, cool, Saturday afternoon, that is something special ❤️🌧😊

So easy and delicious - this is the only way we make the them!
I had my PFA 10 months ago and haven't had any Afib episodes! Last week I took a trip to the mountains (9,000 ft) and felt like I was going into Afib. Turns out is was probably altitude related. After rest and proper hydration all symptoms resolved and have been fine since. I will be more careful in the future but for now it looks like the ablation worked and my heart responded well to the stress.
I'm entering a new chapter in my life. Something profoundly shifted for me after turning 70. Not only have I survived cancer, chaos and drama but I'm thriving. Every day I'm grateful for another chance to experience all the love and joy this life has to offer.
An old friend wants to reconnect after a couple of years with no contact. The problem is that her husband has a long history of making inappropriate comments and turning every conversation into an argument. I've addressed it before, but nothing changed.
Seeing them separately is not an option and I really don't want to see them again.
I'm trying to decide whether to respond with a polite excuse and leave it at that, or simply not respond at all.
This morning I noticed an older woman from the neighborhood pulling leaves and branches off the tree in my front yard (not a fruit tree). She gathered them up and carried them home. I have no idea what she was doing.
I remember watching this program when I was a girl and thought how wonderful it was that these women got to have this experience. Now, I've learned that I can create this just for me. Some days that means planning a trip, other days it is just dressing up and playing some great music while I cook dinner. It has taken me a while but I know I deserve to be the queen of my life!
