No seriously, thank you all for the support ever since I started posting here!

Ever since I ported Goob to Mario Kart 7 as a way to show my new modding skills (since that was my actual first port, most of them I just stole it and retextured it for a friend)

And then I kept going, porting other dandy’s world characters to Mario Kart 7
To eventually make big mod showcases (mods that change an entire cast to characters, like Looey The Balloon or Super Goob Bros)
My dream is to be known as the “modding guy” of any fandom! And I’m making good progress!

Modding is really fun at times, sometimes, it really depends on what mood you’re on and how much progress you wanna make to a mod

Sometimes you’ll be met with roadblocks: crashes on the emulator, models exploding, tools that do not work, etc etc.
you’ll get sad that you cannot progress, and eventually give up, that happened to me once doing the Super Goob Galaxy mod

Tho you can still learn it, trial and error, even if it takes days, you’ll get there eventually

I guess I’m the only one that does Dandy’s World characters in other games?? If not,
Please tell me someone else who did it first, I wanna see it too!

I love modding
Really wish I could do something with the toads, but I realized that they share the same model

So i decided to mod Super Mario Sunshine, i followed this tutorial: https://lumasworkshop.com/guides/?d=Model%20Replacements
I changed some stuff in the tex_headers and materials jsons, and it compiles cleanly
but when i try it in Dolphin (using Riivolution), it gives out a error and loops from 34, 08 and 10
and if i ignore it, the model loads, but its broken
why is that? what am i doing wrong?? its my first time modding Sunshine (and modding a gamecube game in general)

Progress:

I managed to attach some of the inputs to the buttons (Interacting with items, running (but that one is just fake, I need to make it use the real speed code) and the slot buttons)

I still need to fix some buttons, the interact with doors and stuff and the look behind button
