Bowl of Elote
From my local Mexican restaurant. You can request elote in a cup. They usually do a normal sized styrofoam cup but today they hit me up with a damn cereal bowl of it 😵💫

Hey all -
I currently drive a 2018 Honda Civic EX. I’ve had it for about 7 years. The car is in great shape: less than 50,000 miles, only a couple minor scratches, and no mechanical issues. I recently had it appraised at a local dealership and they were willing to offer me $14,000.
Although I like my car, I bought it as my “big purchase” when I was starting my career out of college. Well, since then, my salary has doubled and I’ve started to have the desire for something a little different.
Truthfully, I want something that is either a bit more modern and with more features and/or to have a car that is more enjoyable to drive. In my opinion, this puts me into categories:
- Trade in and upgrade to something newer.
- Buy a second, older car that is more enjoyable/fun to drive. (A “weekend” car)
Where I want the help from this community is just getting suggestions about what I could upgrade to or purchase as a second used car. I’m sure some of you have been in a similar situation before. So I’m curious to just get ideas from this community.
Some guidelines:
- $30,000 to $35,000 may be the max for an upgrade. I don’t really want or need a $500+ monthly car payment.
- No preference on type of car (sedan, suv, etc.)

Hello-
Today I (M/30/260lbs/6’2”) took a brief walk today and recorded it on my watch. But wow, a recorded 567 active calories burned on a moderate 1.5 mi walk is insane. I really can’t imagine this accurate at all.
Similar walks in the past recorded an average of 150-170 active calories for the same walk.
Is this a common issue? And any tips on how to resolve it?
