[7009-6000] "Railway Time" on a Bund strap

Grandfathers 1995 Seiko 5 getting some wrist time. In a typical Seiko 5 fashion, it was never serviced. Runs at +/- 10sec/day, amplitude at 265, and has a rather severe beat error at 2.8

Holcim merger Mappin & Webb

Special issue of Mappin & Webb S3 Campaign made for executives and major shareholders of (then newly created) Holcim company.

Usually a black dial, swiss quartz watch in this version loses a M&W logo, black dial, quartz mvmnt, and gets a Holcim logo, silver dial, and ETA 2824-2 Top Grade mvmnt.

You have what on your wrist?!

For some time Frogman G-Shocks were sold under the name Seaman on markets outside of Japan due to the trademark problems. (e.g. DW-9950WC-2)

First (New) Seiko (and First Alpinist) [SPB249 Deep Lake]

I owned (and still own) a few used/old and vintage Seikos, but this is the first new Seiko that I bought.

In love with the dial!
