Any suggestions?

I really need some advice/help because I honestly don’t know what else to do.
I’ve been unemployed since the beginning of July. Since then, I’ve sent out 500+ applications and gone on 15+ interviews, and I still haven’t been able to get a job.
I’m not someone who doesn’t want to work. I’m actually extremely hardworking. When I say first one in, last one out, I mean it. I’m willing to work 10–12+ hour days if that’s what I need to do. I have a 1yr old, but being a mom does not stop me from working or wanting to work.
I would love a normal 9–5 Monday-Friday job, but I also have to be realistic. I can’t just go work at McDonald’s for $15–17 an hour because that isn’t going to fix my situation. I need something starting around $24–$25+ an hour where I can actually support myself and my child.
For some background, I have experience in healthcare scheduling, radiology/mammogram scheduling, customer service, management, lead server / assistant manger, and working with people. I’m also bilingual and have my cosmetology license ( I haven’t did hair in over 5 years lost the passion). If anyone can look at that experience and tell me what type of jobs I should actually be applying for, I would really appreciate it because at this point I feel like I’m applying to everything and getting nowhere.
But honestly, my biggest problem right now is my living situation.
My rent is $2,000 a month, and I still haven’t been able to pay it for this month I’m 800 short . I simply cannot afford it right now. I’ve gone to DSS and was told that the only way they can put me into a shelter is if I receive an eviction notice.
And I understand that they have rules, but I just keep thinking… how am I supposed to do that to my landlord? How can I purposely let things get that bad and put my problems onto someone else? I don’t want to get evicted. I don’t want to lose my home. I just need help before it gets to that point.
I’ve been researching affordable housing, low income housing, rent assistance, housing programs, and anything else I can find for hours and hours. I have been applying to things for years honestly, since I was pregnant. Every time I think I find something, I end up at another dead end.
I’m also a single mother. My child’s father is incarcerated and possibly facing deportation, so realistically, I don’t have much support or anyone to fall back on. It’s basically just me trying to figure everything out.
So I’m asking specifically to anyone in Yonkers/ White plains or anywhere in Westchester County:
Does anyone know of a caseworker, social worker, organization, church, program, or ANY resource that actually helps single mothers in situations like mine?
Especially someone who can help me with:
Low-income or affordable housing
Rent assistance
Rent-stabilized housing
Housing for single mothers
Childcare assistance
Emergency assistance before an eviction happens
Navigating housing programs that I may not know about
Or even helping me figure out what programs I actually qualify for
And if you know of jobs around $24–$25+ an hour that I might qualify for based on my experience, PLEASE tell me about those too.
I’m not looking for a handout. I want to work. I want to pay my bills. I want to take care of my baby and keep a roof over our heads. I’m willing to work extremely hard. I just need someone to point me in the right direction.
I promise you, I have spent countless hours researching this stuff. I’m not posting this because I haven’t tried. I’m posting because I’ve tried and I keep hitting dead ends.
Any mamas who have been through something similar, especially in White plains /Westchester, or anyone who knows of a program, caseworker, housing resource, or job that could help please let me know.
Even if you think it’s something obvious, please tell me. At this point, I’m willing to try anything.

Husband may face deportation after we discovered his citizenship case may not have gone through looking for advice

I’m hoping someone with immigration knowledge can help us understand what options we may have.
My husband is currently in federal prison, and we are trying to figure out his immigration situation before he finishes his sentence. We recently found out that his old immigration case was closed, but we are waiting on the records to understand exactly why it was closed and whether there is any chance it was because he became a U.S. citizen or if there is another explanation.
Right now, it is looking like the citizenship argument may not work, and we are trying to prepare ourselves for what could happen next.
Here is the timeline:
My husband was born on 02/10/1993.
He came to the United States when he was around 9 years old.
His father became a U.S. citizen in 2008, and we were looking into whether my husband may have automatically derived citizenship through him.
However, we found out his father’s citizenship date and his green card timeline may matter.
My husband became a permanent resident on 03/11/2011 (he was 18 years old at that time).
We are trying to confirm whether he actually derived citizenship before turning 18 or if he never qualified.
We are waiting to get his full immigration records (ROP/A-file information) so we can understand exactly what happened.
If he is not considered a citizen and ICE moves forward with deportation after his sentence, I honestly don’t know how life continues. We have built our life here. He has been in this country most of his life. He has family here, a wife, and a child. The thought of him being sent to a country he barely knows is terrifying.
For anyone who has been through something similar:
Is there any chance to fight deportation in a situation like this?
What should we be looking for in his immigration records?
If someone is deported after living in the U.S. since childhood, how do families realistically move forward?
Are there any options we should be asking an immigration attorney about?
I’m trying to stay hopeful, but I’m also trying to prepare for every possibility. Any advice or similar experiences would mean a lot.

What should I do ?

I’ve applied to over 1,000 jobs in Westchester County. What am I doing wrong?
I’m honestly at a loss and hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
I’ve applied to well over 1,000 jobs over the past few months. I’ve had multiple interviews, and I always feel like they go well, but then… nothing. No callback, no offer, sometimes not even a rejection email.
At this point I’m starting to wonder what I’m doing wrong.
I live in Westchester County, NY, and I’m desperately looking for work. I have years of experience in customer service, scheduling, dispatching, patient registration, hospitality management, and administrative work. I’m reliable, learn quickly, and I’m ready to start immediately.
The problem is that I can’t accept jobs paying under $23/hour. I’m a single mom, my rent is $2,000/month, and I pay electricity, childcare, and every other bill on my own. Taking a $17/hour job just isn’t enough to cover basic living expenses.
Does anyone know of companies in Westchester that are actually hiring? Or does anyone have advice on why I keep getting interviews but not offers? I’m open to hospitals, medical offices, front desk, administrative, dispatching, customer service, scheduling—pretty much anything that pays a livable wage.
Any advice, leads, or even encouragement would mean a lot. Thank you.

Immigration lawyers?

If it can’t get any worse .

Desperately looking for an immigration lawyer (possible derivative citizenship/federal incarceration)
I’m desperately looking for an immigration lawyer who has experience with federal cases and derivative citizenship.
My husband is currently incarcerated in a federal low-security prison. He’s a lawful permanent resident, but before he turned 18, his father became a U.S. citizen. From everything I’ve been reading, it seems like my husband may have automatically become a U.S. citizen as a child, but for some reason that process was never completed or documented. I don’t know if we’re misunderstanding the law or if something was missed.
Now we’re terrified because it seems like immigration may try to deport him when his sentence is over. If he actually derived U.S. citizenship through his father, I want to do everything I can to prove it before it’s too late.
I’m overwhelmed. I recently lost my job, I’m a single mom, and I’m trying to keep everything together while facing the possibility of losing my child’s father. I honestly don’t know how I can afford an attorney.
Is there an immigration lawyer here who handles derivative citizenship cases or post-conviction immigration issues? Does anyone know of an organization or attorney who might take a case like this pro bono or on a reduced-fee basis? Even if you can’t represent us, I’d be grateful for any guidance or referrals.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.

What can I do ?

I really need some advice because I feel completely stuck.
I was recently fired, and I’m a single parent living in Westchester County, NY. I have rent due this month with no money coming in, and I’m honestly terrified.
Every single day I’m applying for jobs—probably 30-40 applications between Indeed, Glassdoor, company websites, and LinkedIn. I’ve gone on interview after interview, but I just can’t seem to land anything. At this point my confidence is shot, and I’m starting to wonder what I’m doing wrong.
I have experience in customer service, scheduling, healthcare administration, dispatching, and management. I’m looking for something that pays at least $26/hour because anything less won’t cover rent, childcare, and basic bills.
For anyone who’s been in a similar situation:
How did you finally get hired?
Are there any companies in Westchester or nearby that are actually hiring and paying $26+/hour?
Is there something I should be doing differently with my resume or interviews?
Are there staffing agencies that are actually worth contacting?
I’m open to full-time office, hospital, customer service, dispatch, or administrative work. I just need someone to give me a chance.
Any advice, job leads, or encouragement would mean a lot right now. Thank you.

ANY LAWYER!! BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS : prison FCI Schuylkill PLEASE HELP ME

I desperately need help finding a lawyer who has experience with federal prisons or civil rights cases.
My husband is currently incarcerated at FCI Schuylkill, and for the last three months I have been trying every single day to speak with someone in charge about serious concerns. Almost every time I call, I am placed on hold for hours, only to get nowhere. I have been ignored over and over again.
I am a single mother trying to raise our child on my own while my husband is incarcerated. It has already been incredibly difficult, but now I can’t even get basic information or have my concerns addressed. I feel like my family has been abandoned.
I believe my husband’s basic rights are being violated. I have exhausted every avenue I know. No one will speak to me, no one will return my calls, and no one seems willing to take responsibility.
At this point, I am terrified because I don’t know if my husband is safe. I don’t know what is happening to him, and every day that passes without answers makes that fear worse. I feel helpless.
If anyone knows a lawyer, legal aid organization, or anyone who handles cases involving the Federal Bureau of Prisons, inmates’ rights, or civil rights violations, please let me know. My family desperately needs help. Even if you don’t have a lawyer to recommend, I would appreciate any advice on what I can do next.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
