hi everyone. I made an app (well, website) that allows you to check where you can poop

hi guys, not an advertisement. but i made an app (well, a website) called poople maps that helps you find places to poop 😅

you can check and review existing crs, whether they have a bidet, tissue, tabo, water, and other amenities.

it also has an emergency poop mode that shows nearby crs that meet a minimum quality standard when you really need to go.

still in beta, but i’d just want to get your feedback. Thank you!

to get to function like an app, open the link using your browser, tap share then select Add to Homescreen

i vibe coded an app for finding "poopable" restrooms

hi everyone, i vibe coded an app that lets you check CRs near you. it's currently a PWA and still in beta (with zero testers lol).

i made this because finding a truly "poopable" restroom in this country is almost impossible and wildly inconsistent. you'd think most establishments would at least have a working toilet and some tissue, but that's not always the case. honestly, i made this because i get anxious whenever i'm out and don't know where i can poop if nature suddenly calls.

while building the app, i ended up creating a whole roadmap because my adhd kicked in and i started thinking of way too many features.

i don't even know why i'm sharing this, but i guess i'm pretty proud of what i've made. i solved a problem i personally have while potentially helping other people too. i don't know how to code at all, so vibe coding really carried me through this.

thank you to this sub!

here's a screen recording of what it looks like right now:

Looking for Poople Maps Beta testers!

Poople Maps is opening beta access 🚽📍

I’m looking for people who are often outside and can help test the app in real situations. I'm opening it to 5-10 users for now.

If you want beta access, send me a message with:

  1. How often you’re outside
  2. Why you think you should get beta access

Perfect for riders, commuters, students, employees, gala people, and anyone na laging nasa labas.

Help us build a better CR map for everyone.

RCBC Diskartech process for SSS

Unemployed nga eh 🥲 Pahirapan pa hanapin yung Manila sa place of birth. Yung ibang city nakasulat as City of xx, biglang yung Pasay, "Pasay City". Tapos pag sa Manila na walang Manila City or City of Manila, dapat baranggay iseselect mo hahahahahaha

made something that allows you to check where you can poop

Hi! I’m currently building a small project called Poople Maps, a community-based idea for finding clean and usable CRs nearby. I’m not hiring, selling, or promoting anything. I just wanted to ask for honest feedback: would anyone actually be interested in using something like this, especially for emergencies or when going around the city?

EDIT: I’m definitely familiar with similar apps, and I take a lot of inspiration from them. Sadly, most of them are now inactive, and that honestly made me sad, so I’m trying to build my own.

I think it may not have been sustainable for them, which is probably why they were discontinued. But for me, personally, this is something I truly need. So even without a lot of users, I think I can keep it alive at a slow but steady pace.

I’ve also made a roadmap for where the app is going. Right now, I’m thinking of community events like awarding the cities with the most CRs, recognizing the best establishments, highlighting the users with the highest contributions, and so much more. I also plan on doing giveaways once the app grows. For example, incentivizing submissions from delivery riders could help them a lot, and since they’re always out and about, they could also really help the app grow.

The app is still a work in progress, though. I want to make sure everything is properly covered, especially now that there seems to be a lot of interest in it.
