Are drop rates really easier with more players?

Hello,

Returned to this game on a whim and got past Krokotopia using the hoodoo bundle clothing set and moo manchu's wand, where i realized ive got a long, uphill battle ahead of me with upcoming chapters. As such, I decided to take a break in Krok and get the pieces of anubis gear, as since I'm playing witch mojo boosts are very important. But as i'm farming Sar'keth every day (which is not a fun fight, but I digress) i rarely even get the chance for the good drops, but notice that when random pirates join in i have more chances. Is the game actually skewed that way?

Why are physical witchdoctor companions so bad?

Hello,

Returning to the game off and on to hopefully finish my goal of making a good pet for each class and the game (send help). Figured way back when I'd start with the hardest class being that of the witchdoctor, and as I just finished recruiting Sinbad yesterday, a thought occurred to me. Namely, why are physical witchdoctors so bad?

Off the top of my head, there are four melee witchdoctor companions: Nurse Quinn, Voodoo Cornelius, Gworbleen and Doctor Noh.

All of them have spells, but ultimately have to be up close to be able to do damage. But doing damage as a witch is tough because your accuracy is terrible. Standard witchdoctor companions with range like Scratch missing makes some sense, it's to prevent them from snowballing with 3X3 areas of damage 100% of the time. But in doing so, it makes Cornelius nearly unusable unless you use El Toro to buff his accuracy. I doubt KI would buff these companions (seeing as Quinn and Noh got buffed) but why should a select few suffer for the majority?

Any dimension mods worth looking into?

Hoy,

So I have been compiling a decent set of addons for a realm with friends. Been testing how they interact, and i don't experience any issues as far as lag is concerned. But a part of me still thinks the game is incomplete without an adventure addon, and have been debating on adding a dimension mod in lieu of cave addons and such. Any of them noteworthy?

What type of damselfly is this? (Northeastern U.S)

This guy landed on my palm just as I was walking to my car. Wasn't expecting him, much less the time to get a good photo. I assume he's related to dragonflies? Dont think he used his legs.

New ability idea: Schadenfreude

Schadenfreude would function as an inverse guts of sorts, where the user would gain boosted defenses due to the opponent suffering from a status condition. I could see dark types that the dex mentions being cruel and arrogant towards prey, like Alolan persian or Weavile.

So many people don't get this scene

Hello,

Anyone who has played KH2FM is familiar with this scene. It takes place during the 2nd visit to Hollow Bastion and is proceeded by an infamously long sequence of Xemnas walking down the stairs. So many people often rag on this scene, saying things like "why doesnt he just teleport down there?". Theres good reason for that, and I'll explain.

As the heroes are distracted by the battle raging outside Xemnas takes the opportunity to head to the computer room, where he disables the security camera. He inputs a disk to the computer, then types in 6 passwords (each being the name of one of Ansem's apprentices) which opens the way to a long stairway, which he proceeds to walk down. All the while, he reflects on his proposal to Ansem the Wise to continue the experiments of the heart, to which the researcher king forbids it. Following a corridor lined with jail cells (which astute fans can recognize as the ones mentioned in KH1'S Ansem report) he enters a room with a throne. Sitting in it, he addresses the sole thing in there: Aqua's discarded armor.

This scene, long as it may be is brilliant if you think about it. Knowing what we know now, it's easy to piece together that this is a ritual that Terra performs through Xemnas, unconsciously or not. The reason it takes so long could be a simple matter of it being part of the ritual, or if under the assumption that Terra is in control, he wouldn't know to teleport. Cigar mentions trailing him to the room and hearing him speak, but no one responds, which implies this has happened many times in the past. And because of the battle of 1000 heartless, Xemnas knew this would likely be his last chance to converse with "Aqua", as the room afterwards was claimed by the HBRC.

Days reports also mention that Xemnas sent Axel to C.O in search of the chamber where Ven sleeps, but to no avail. So this is something that Xemnas does every so often, and no one in the organization understood it.

Advice on stable addons for bedrock realm (console+PC users)

'Hoy,

To cut a very long story short, at some point in the future I plan on hosting a realm for me and a few friends. In the past I have made modpacks, but given that my friends are streamers with fans who dont have strong PC's that isnt an avenue i can realistically explore. So in an attempt to balance things without a traditional vanilla server I plan on adding addons to make it a more enjoyable experience.

That being said though, i'm cognizant of the limitations with addons. Some conflict, and adding too many will crash consoles. So I've gone through and compiled some that might work, contemplating purchasing or others that might substitute similar ones.

Here's what I have that I will be using:

Naturalist due to its mob additions and closeness to actual minecraft mobs.

Dinosaurs add-on 2.1: can go either way but the fact I can turn off natural dino spawning is a nice feature.

World utilities: its just useful.

Mowzie's mobs.

Addons I could go either way on:

Cave biomes addon by glorious studios OR Caves Expanded Add-On. Both are fundamentally similar but obviously one has to go.

Element bending OR Gauntlets Add-On. Again, similar concept, don't want to overwhelm.

Addons i'm on the fence on getting:

A backpack mod,

Furniture builder Add-On 2.0

A dungeon/structure mod (more structures, dungeon crawler, etc). Honestly just need more areas that soawn in suspicious sand gravel and dirt for synergy eith Dinosaurs.

Weapons & armor add-on by Pixell studios.

Please let me know if any are legitimately useful or not worth using. Thanks.

Making Carnivine better

Hoy,

Carnivine is one of "those" mons. You know the ones, they appear in a dex as effectively filler, and you dont think twice about them. No evolutions, not particularly strong, and sometimes they might get a signature move (might being the key word) but not always. As for carnivine, its middle of the road. Mediocre 74/72/72 bulk, workable 100 and 90 in respective attacks and pitiful 46 speed. Its got levitate, helping it turn a resistance into an ummunity but unless youre playing conquest youre not going to see it often. The speed is an issue, but id argue it being an ambush predator is the primary reason. But I think the most glaring issue is the mere fact that as a grass type, it is WEAK to bugs.

That's understandable for most grass types, but id think that should be something to set specific ones apart. Victreebell already has a mega (and a powerful one for those who like to erase things from the battle)but carmivine is left in the dust. That's why id propose to alter its stats a bit, giving 8 to both defenses, and a signature ability and move called distraction and needle fang.

Distraction would be a functional way to utilize the alleged sweet smelling saliva it produces to well, distract bug types, lowering their accuracy upon switch in. Very helpful against things that capitalize on using mega horn and other high power, low accuracy moves. Needle fang would be a base 75 grass type contact move that is super effective against bugs and lowers their speed.

I doubt TPC and GF would actually buff this mon, but considering how even something as forgotten as victreebell can get a mega, anythings possible.
