Why everyone’s scars look so good???

15 weeks post and my scars are still a very noticeable brown and red (hamstring graph). They don’t hurt or feel weird just always seeing people with like perfectly blended scars while being only a few months post op. Am I missing some secret hack or something??

Oils?
Sun exposure?

Best health food??

Been doing a lot of skull cavern runs and sick of having multiple stacks of food for health. I need like 1 good option of something I can grow and cook easily but obviously it can’t have buffs or else it would get rid of other (magic rock effects)

Thanks
FYI: I’ve been using powermelon? Only issue is I can only grow it in winter

Curious to hear the worst/funniest ways someone has normal a knee ligament. Just wondering if there are certain things I should avoid once I’m better 😂

How many wyverns for manticore?

Hi all,
After defeating manticore many times using rexes I have decided to go through the agony of capturing a full team of wyverns in the spirit of the map as it my first time playing it on ASA

I’m only using eggs 140 and above (On Max difficulty)

How many should I get for gamma? (Assuming not much)

How many for alpha? If it is possible cause I was also told rexes are just better

And one last question, I assuming bringing no yuti/daedons as the wyverns are just airborne and will avoid all effects??

What was your post-op protocol?

Hey all, just curious what everyone was told to do after having knee surgery as I think mine was a bit extreme. Tbf I was a bit of a special case and I had bilateral knee injuries from a car accident and lots of other stuff wrong but anyway

ACL + LCL reconstruction (Times is weeks) (17yr)

0-2 no weight bearing, 90° HNB (hinge knee brace)

2-6 weighting bearing for pivot transfers only (was in a wheelchair at the time)

6-12 unlock HNB to 120° and weight bearing using a 4 point walking frame

12+ remove HNB and use forearm crutches

Now I’m over 3 months post op and using forearm crutches and can walk well over 5000 steps daily with no pain. Just waiting my next knee surgery in July ( PCL + ACL reconstruction) 😬

Anyone torn acl + pcl?

About to have my 8th surgery following a car crash in march and it’s a reconstruction of my ACL and PCL using hamstring graphs. I have previously had an acl reconstruction on my other knee 3 months ago and had a set protocol to follow of bending on knee and weight bearing

Anyone who’s had this surgery what did your protocol look like?

I assume it will be more intense than just an acl but I am already mobile on the leg using forearm crutches so hopefully that’s will allow me to weight bear post op

Coping with life changing injuries

Hi all, looking to hear some hopefully good stories on people who had been involved in accidents and suffered life long injuries from it and how they have learnt to live with them.

Here’s my story:
I’m 17yr and currently a year 12 student and back in march of this year I was passenger in my ‘friends’ car when he rolled it while drifting and I got sent out the window.

Long story short my legs copped some massive injures. I’ve had 7 surgeries, external metal, 2 months straight in hospital, rely on mobility devices (wheelchair and walking frame) and have multiple surgeries down the line to deal with my nerve damage aswell as another knee surgery this month.

Obviously this has changed my life, I was told I can’t play high intensity sports ever again, I won’t ever have a normal looking walk, I have to wear special shoes all the time to even be able to walk as I can’t control my feet, always have constant knee and nerve pain and so many scars and deformations across my body. This is crazy to think about as only 5 months ago I was in perfect health but I won’t ever get to that point again

Not to mention with it being my last year of high school my grades have definitely taken a toll as I’ve missed so much school.

However I’m happy to still be alive. I’m a lot lucky than other people who have been in bad car accidents as only 4 months after I have been able to return to a semi normal life and hope to be fully independent in the future.

Lost everything

I play single player with CS+ structures mod and for some reason why I loaded in the mods weren’t on. And guess what genius mind saved the game and went to see why it’s not on (had to restart game was a bug after updating)

So now all my smiths and storage boxes that have EVERYTHING is gone and my manual backup save was ages ago

I’m on Xbox is there anyway to fix this? Like go on a more recent save but I doubt it

Dino following gotten worse on ASA….

Been playing scorched earth on single player and I was riding on a saber and had another one following me. THE WORSE THING EVER. It jsut would not consistently follow me while I was sprinting. Every time I stopped then went again it had like a 3 second delay. This then causes it to get stuck on rocks and whatnot cause it was like 100m behind me (Not encumbered)

It was NEVER this bad on ASE cause I had played lots of abberation and had taken a 5 pack of ravengers all over the maps. The only time they would stop running would be to poop.

I even changed follow distance to lowest and still every time I took off it would take like 3 seconds to start following me. Safe to say I will not be attempting to use dire wolfs or other pack animals in the future

Experiences with ACL + PCL reconstruction

Context: Was a passenger in a car crash that gave me major trauma injuries to both my legs. Already had 7 surgeries and require one last one to repair torn acl + pcl + lcl and tear in MM.

Meet with the surgeon yesterday and they are happy to operate now, Just pending on surgeon availability as it called as ‘uncommon and complex’. It’s a cat 1 surgery which means it is to happen within 30 days.

I’ve already have an acl recon on my right leg and that was a painful experience and 2 months post of currently and it feels great. However I know pcl injuries are a lot different and rebab may not be the same.

Looking to hear about peoples experiences with both cruciate ligaments having to be reconstructed no matter how far you are in your journey

Thanks

Stories about bilateral injuries?

Hello 👋

I’m 17yr and was in a passenger in a car crash 3 months ago. All my injuries were to both legs. 7 torn ligaments, knee dislocated, open fractures, severed artery’s, the whole lot.

3 months later and 7 surgeries later am I mobile with a walking frame and use a wheelchair for long trips. I’m awaiting my hopefully my last surgery scheduled for next week to fix my left knee. After this I hope to walk without assistant by at least 3 months post (right would be 5 months post op by then).

I think I’m doing fairly well as I’ve only been out of hospital for about a month, but now I’m just mentally preparing for another painful knee surgery 😬.

This has made me want to hear other people stories as from what I’ve always been told, bilateral injures are quite uncommon and I’ve struggled to find other people that have had a similar thing happen to them.

Thanks ✌️

Anyone been in 90° hinge knee braces in economy seat??

Hello,
First time catching commercial since my injuries and the stingy insurance company has put me in economy, not to mention I’m also in a wheelchair currently as no weight bearing.

I have knee braces on both my legs only allowing for a bend of 90°

Will I actually fit? 😂I’m also not a short guy I’m about 6’2 and just thinking about catching planes before my injury and my knees were already compressed against the seat in front of me.

FYI: the airline is aware of it and if no spare crew is travelling on the flight I can get moved to a row at the front with more leg room.

Dealing with bilateral foot drop at 17

Hi, I was in a car crash on the 1st of march where I received major trauma to both my legs. Aside from requiring 8 surgeries to fix my damage knees/legs I also served pretty bad nerve damage mainly affecting my feet.

On my right I have go left ankle movement and downward but zero movements on right ankle and bringing foot up. I have been use a walking AFO as I have started to use a walking frame where I put most of my pressure on right leg.

My left leg copped the worse so it’s still very swollen and I’m only in sitting AFO (moonboot) and have very little foot movement at all

I had a nerve conduction done last week where pretty much the results were my right side peroneal nerve had 0 activity and for left it was unable to be done due to swelling

I’ve gotten pretty contempt with the fact I may have to deal with this for my whole life and jsut wondering how people actually deal with it and how certain activity’s have changed for them such as swimming, running, walking around home and anything else you can think of.
Thanks

Bit of a funny vent (got to do with airplanes)

So I’m temporarily wheelchair bound (I hope) from a car crash the left me some big trauma injuries to my legs. I have been flown numerous times on medical flights to get operated on by a knee specialist that works out of a hospital in different city to mine, but now since I’ve been out of hospital and able to bend my knees I’ve have to catch commercial.

I don’t deal with any of the booking since it’s all done by patient travel through the hospital since they are obligated to do it as my city can’t offer my medical needs.

What’s the one seat a disabled person can’t sit on in a plane?

The exit row, it has massive exclamation on it saying who have to be fully abled to sit in it

But guess what

The patient travel booked me in it 🤦‍♂️

Massive slip up by someone just obvisouly doesn’t have single brain cell as I doubt most people travelling for medical needs would not able to assist in the event of a plane emergency let alone a wheelchair bound person.

FYI: sorted it all out through the airline cause stuff going back through the people at patient travel as it was mission and half getting them to book it in the first place 😂

Wheelchairs on planes

For context I’m a 17 yr old who was in a car crash a few months ago and uses a wheelchair and will be a while (hoping on not permanently) and I have the take a plane to travel to a major city for more rounds of surgery’s and appointments (I am too complex for my cities hospitals).

I’ve never been on a commercial flight since my accident as I couldn’t never bend my kneeS to fit into a wheelchair but now I can. Only 2 airlines fly out of my city and I’ve been looking at the FAQS about how wheelchairs are supported and there is little to no help on since only international flights offer wheelchair accessible toilets which I can understand to an extend.

So what do I do? I got really annoyed at my parents for talking about stuff like peeing a bottle and I got so angry as I can’t believe that there’s no accomodations to help me expect for “Your accompanying passenger will have to assist you with walking to the nearest toilet” like what a joke!

Has anyone had to deal with any other similar experiences? Or Am I wrong for being annoyed and it’s not expected for domestic commercial airlines to deal with wheelchair users?

Note: They do they say can wheel you to your seat but the wheelchair (airports one) don’t fit down the aisle or the bathroom and I’m unsure if they stay on the plane or not

Also I think to biggest plane available is the airbusA320 just in case anyone has been on it and in a wheelchair and found positives from it

THANKS

Might not be the right category but I was Involved in a car accident of the 1st of march and suffered a range of injuries (multi knee ligs and Fractures) and am still unable to walk but jsut have questions for people who has suffered never damage from trauma injuries like me.

Im able to bend both feet down (plantar) but unable to lift both up (foot drop) and limited in left to right ankle movements.

So has anyone actually recovered from nerve damage? or is it more likely it’s permanent damage

I do have a never conductor test on the 7th of may and am very worried for what the results might be
