WC alumni doing 35 bday dinner

It’s been A LONG TIME since I went out in west Chester. We just moved back here and a group of about 10 of my girlfriends are getting dinner (to be determined where) and then would like to have a night out. I know it’s summer so it won’t be slammed with college students but where are the popular bars these days? We want music and a fun atmosphere. The town is so different compared to 2013.

Has anyone parked in here recently? How was it?

Meeting friends for dinner in the city and I am without the skill of parallel parking. Going to Barcelona in south Philly.

Second pregnancy after Diastis

Did anyone who had a small separation take rehabbing their core very seriously after their first pregnancy? If so, how did your second pregnancy go? What was your separation, if any and did your core recover more quickly?

Thanks.

Stopped supporting to sleep, now aggressive at nap and bedtime

My 24month old was previously bounced or nursed to sleep. In the past few months we stopped nursing and stopped bouncing. I knew there would be resistance, but the physical aggression is getting bad. He has always slept on a floor bed with total access to his room, with a gate at the door. He’s also been dropping his nap a few times a week regularly.

I need the most help with nap time. I have communicated to him that he doesn’t have to nap, but that he needs to have quiet time. I lay down on the bed and sometimes after 15 minutes of playing he’ll lay down and nap, as we now cuddle him to sleep. Other times he just starts biting scratching and pulling my hair bc he doesn’t even want to be in his room. If I leave the room and have him do “quiet time” alone he just screams at the top of his lungs for me which I’m not comfortable with either.

Those with similar sleep set ups.. How did you enforce quiet time or even just the nap once you stopped supporting them to sleep. How did you do it without so much protest? Did you just skip quiet time all together/drop the nap?

Thanks in advance.
