I am thinking of buying a M5 Air model with 24 gb RAM, but regarding storage I am confused if 512 gb can serve the purpose or I have to go for 1 TB storage?

Almost all of them just say that pay is good but they are not happy due to being in a toxic work culture & no work life balance!
