JPMC hiring

I had my 1st round of interview in Mid June and got a next round email the very next day. A week later I had my 2nd round which was F2F on 25th June. I haven’t heard back since then. Sent a follow up to the HR but no response. There is no other way to contact them. The portal says “Under Consideration”.

Is it over? Have they ghosted me?

Joining as VP with 14 yrs exp. worth it?

Context: i am currently at VP level in another US bank. I have been VP for 3 plus years now.
Now I get an offer from jpmc with a salary hike but they are giving same title of VP. HR said that Exec Director is what comes above VP and I am not eligible.

So my question is- how tough it is to get promoted to ED and whats usual experience and eligibility level to get there?

Product Owner / Business Analyst with 10+ years of experience. Not getting any calls.

Okay so what’s the deal with JPMC India? There are so many relevant openings and I have also taken a referral.

Despite being a perfect match for so many newly posted roles, I don’t get a call from recruiter. Am I ding something wrong?

Open to suggestions.

Code for Good Hackathon 2026

Hi everyone, I'm currently in my 3rd year of B.Tech(CSE), we were supposed to have the Code For Good Hackathon for the 2028 batch this june and it's already July right now.. i cleared the OA. I feel my HireVue interview went well too, but didn't recieve any update till now. And I believe no one else did too cuz I've been checking for updates on reddit and through college placement cell too. If there's anyone working in JPMC who'd know any details about the hackathon or the Hirevue results, I'd be grateful if you could let us in on it

Need suggestions for a guy with 1 YOE as an AI engineer intern.

Hi, I'm an AI engineer at a Fintech company with 1 YOE as an intern there. I actually wanted to work in JPMC (like others) but people said that coming from a tier 3 college you would at least need a prior experience even if it's an internship like that would increase the chances of shortlisting.

Though I have experience, now I am seeking a job at JPMC. I can get referrals from my relatives but I am confused by what roles should apply in sde/ai based on experience like how do I that this job hires candidate with 1 YOE. Also any suggestions for preparation and things to be taken under consideration are welcome, Thank you.

Note:- people working at JPMC, do share your insights as it matters for someone like me.

I reviewed the job search process of 5 recent grads live on Zoom. Here is why you're applying to 100+ jobs and getting ghosted.

Hey everyone,
Lately, I’ve been talking to a lot of recent grads who are understandably incredibly frustrated with the current market. They’re sending out hundreds of applications, getting zero responses, and feeling completely burnt out.
I wanted to see what was actually happening under the hood. So, I hopped on Zoom with a handful of them, had them share their screens, and watched them go through their actual job application process.
(Side note: One person called me a scammer and bailed when I asked them to share their screen over Zoom, which… fair enough, stay safe out there, but I promise I was just trying to help! 😂*)*
After watching 4 or 5 people do this live, and looking back at my last 3–4 years of networking on LinkedIn, two major, fatal patterns stood out.
Pattern 1: The "Easy Apply" Black Hole
When they shared their screens, almost everyone was speed-running career websites. They were clicking "Apply," uploading a generic resume, and hitting submit without even reading or understanding the job description.
When I asked them to explain what the role they just applied for actually does day-to-day, they couldn't. They were treating the job hunt like a lottery, hoping that spraying 500 identical resumes into the wind would land them something. It won't.
Pattern 2: The LinkedIn "Referral Spam" vs. The 30-Minute Coffee Chat
Over the last few years, I’ve noticed a massive divide in how people reach out on LinkedIn, and it perfectly predicts who actually gets hired:
The Forever "Open to Work" Group: These are the people who slide into your DMs with a copy-pasted "Hey, please refer me to [Link]" without even a greeting. Ironically, I notice these exact same profiles stay "Open to Work" for months, or even years.
The Success Group: These are the candidates who reach out and say, "Hey, I see you work in [Role]. Can I get 30 minutes of your time this weekend? I just want to understand what your day-to-day looks like."
The second group almost always lands a job within 3 to 4 months.
Why? Because they aren't begging for a transaction. They are trying to bridge the gap between being a clueless grad and understanding how a professional with 1–2 years of experience actually thinks. By talking to real people, they learn the actual industry language, which allows them to write a vastly superior resume.
And honestly? Those are the only people I ever actually consider referring. They show maturity.
The Reality Check on Referrals
Here is a hard truth grads need to hear: Even if you get a referral, your chance of getting an interview is still incredibly low if your resume sucks. A referral gets a human eye on your resume; it doesn't magically get you hired if you don't fit the role.
My Advice: Stop Spraying, Start Targeting
Instead of applying to 100 jobs blindly, apply to 10 jobs deeply.

  1. Slow Down: Spend 15 minutes dissecting the job description. Do you actually understand what they are asking for?
  2. Reverse-Engineer the Role: Target a specific company and role. Find people already doing that job on LinkedIn.
  3. Ask for Knowledge, Not a Favor: Reach out to those professionals to understand their day-to-day. Use that insider knowledge to tailor your resume so it looks like it was written by an experienced professional, not a desperate graduate.
Stop wasting your energy on the "Apply to 50 jobs before breakfast" strategy. It doesn't work. Pick 2 or 3 high-quality roles a day, understand them inside out, build real connections, and apply intentionally.
Curious to hear from recruiters or other professionals here—are you seeing people fall into these same traps?

Advice

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to get your opinion. I received a phone call on 25th June informing me that I was selected for the second round and that I would receive another call the following week.

It's now been a few days, and I haven't received any update yet.

Should I continue waiting for their response, or should I move on and actively focus on new opportunities? I'd appreciate any advice or similar experiences.

How long to hear back after the final round ?

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to check if anyone here has interviewed recently and can share their experience with the post-interview timeline.

I interviewed for an Analyst role in June and had 2 rounds in total. My final round was on 18th June. Overall, both the rounds went well and after the second one I genuinely felt like things were positive and that I might hear back soon. But it’s now been around 2 weeks and I still haven’t heard anything from HR. My application status on the portal is still showing “Under Review.”

After waiting for about a week, I also sent a follow-up email to the Hiring manager just to check on the status, but I haven’t received any response to that either.

So I just wanted to ask if this is normal for JPMC India hiring. For people who have interviewed there recently, how long did it take for HR to get back to you after the final round? Did you also have a gap of 1–2 weeks with no communication? And while waiting, did your portal continue to show “Under Review”?

Just trying to understand if this is part of the normal process or if I should read into the silence 😅

Would really appreciate if anyone can share their experience. Thanks!

What are interviewers looking for in a case study interview round at JPMC?

I have a R2 case study interview next week. I have never interviewed for JPMC before and I really want to nail this. It is going to be an hour meeting. So I wonder how long do they prefer the presentation to be, potentially how many slides would be good enough, what makes a candidate stand out and anything that I could get tips on.

Can someone share their experience?

Applying to JPMC Lead Engineer roles (Hyd) for a year kept getting rejected. Anyone willing to share what worked for them?

A few things I’m genuinely curious about from folks who’ve made it past screening:

- What does your resume format look like — one page, two page, heavy on bullets, project-focused?
- Do you tailor per JD or use a standard version?
- Is ATS optimization (keywords from the JD) making a real difference here?
- Are referrals essentially mandatory to get a human to look at it?

I’m just trying to understand if there’s a structural or keyword pattern that JPMC’s system actually responds to. Any honest insight from people who’ve been through this pipeline would be genuinely helpful.

Thanks in advance.

Application under consideration for 2 months

So I got a referral from a VP for a position and whenever I check the status it says under consideration for almost 2 months, is this normal?
