Travel advice
Hi everyone! Planning our first Vietnam trip from 7th- 15th October from Mumbai, India.
Our initial plan was to cover North Vietnam- Hanoi, Sapa, Ninh Binh and Ha Long Bay and maybe Central too- Da Nan and Hoi An.
We’re now a little confused about whether adding Central Vietnam makes sense because of the weather. From what I’ve read, october seems to be a great time for North, but Da Nang/Hoi An can have heavy rain, storms and possible flooding during this period.
Since adding Central would mean taking a domestic flight, is it actually worth doing for these dates, or would we be better off spending the entire 9 days in the North?
Would really appreciate advice from locals or those who have travelled Vietnam in October. Basically, if these were your dates, would you do North only or North + Central?
Thanks! 🙏
