What about the most recent story was getting Isaiah so angry?

Specifically, I mean what was he and Hunter talking about whenever they mentioned "Chungus humor" and "quirky?" I'm a relatively new listener, so if this was explained in previous episodes, I haven't listened to it yet. I'm just listening in on a spooky story while I'm driving, and these two are reacting as if a bad joke is being told that I am just fully not catching, and would appreciate some explanation.

What am I doing wrong? (Final boss spoilers)

>!Lionel!< is driving me up the wall. I have tried this guy probably close to two dozen times by now and I have failed every single one, barely ever managing to get to half HP before he basically one shots me.

Even with defense boosts and max health upgrades, I get maybe four or five attacks before I die.

I'm not allowed to heal basically ever, because every bit of damage I take removes almost all of the plasma I've accumulated.

Dodging his grab by trying to burrow is awkward because of the time you must spend being in the air first.

He is completely immune to damage on one side of his narrow ass hit box at basically all times.

He can become just fully immune to damage seemingly whenever the hell he wants.

I don't understand, am I missing something glaringly obvious that makes this fight even remotely doable? I have every health upgrade, every weapon upgrade, and the only trinket I'm missing is the spring heel one.

Edit: just finally managed to beat him. I used the Hammer charged attacks whenever there was an opening after his attacks.

Shelter code

What do we think is the significance of September 15 199X? It seems the Holliday code is likely Christmas Day, which feels fitting, but the code in Flowery's pot is 0915199X, which doesn't seem to line up with anything we've been told so far.

My current theories are either that being his and Toriel's wedding day, that being the day Kris was adopted, or it being Asriel's birthday.

Edit: I had forgotten Undertale was released Sept 15, that's on me and serves as a perfectly valid Doylist explanation. What about a Wattsonian one?

Tend the Fire

In all the recent videos we've been getting of this game's VAs saying their good byes lately, Ikora said something that stuck out to me.

"This game had become a fire, tended by many." (I don't remember the exact quote.)

Now that this game is over, I think we should continue tending it, rather than burning all our fuel at once.

This game isn't a job anymore. There isn't a rush anymore to complete something before new content comes out and sweeps away everything we've done. We can play for a couple hours a day, just fucking around with our friends, and it won't feel like time wasted anymore. Even if you have every title, even if you've done everything, do something with the Guardian next to you and have fun. Run a Raid with a silly build. Race in the SRL. Have fun shooting big stompy mechs at each other in Heavy Metal. Play the game because you enjoy the act of playing it, not because some time limit says you have to.

Lumina's flavor text states, "There must be meaning in my roar." Doing this will be my way of making that roar not die quickly.
