Also the aliens have super nice asses.

The Illustrated Yobbo.
For July 4th I made an Australian.
Started a new thing last night.
Why is it so hard to translate Roald Dahl to movies?
It’s all right there on the page.
I was thrilled to hear Griffin mention the largely forgotten The Big Gay Sketch Show, who commissioned me to do the best commercial gig of my entire career.
Paid extremely well.
Didn’t give me endless stoopid notes.
Pretty much let me do whatever I wanted.
They played the short at the live taping which was a real thrill and I sat next to Andre Leon Tally in the audience.
For anyone interested the link is below.
It’s a Grinch parody.
The Grinch was supposed to look something like Mitt Romney without it being too obvious.
It made at the time Proposition 8 was on the ballot in California.
I revisited Cube this week.
It’s a not very good but very watchable low budget scifi that was a bit of an indie darling on its release.
I followed it with the rest of the franchise.
They’re all pretty shitty but they make a fun series and I love survival stories.
Then I noticed how many of this odd genre was in Tubi (with the rest of the Cubes).
If you also enjoy the Person/People Trying To Escape From A Small Space movie, Tubi has plenty to choose from.
Many artists have multiple skills.
For example, Jim Broadbent here both acts in movies and television and stage plays and carves frightening zombies out of wood.
He calls them his “People” and presumably they all have names and sex organs and Jim Broadbent is their master who must be obeyed.
After avoiding my instincts for years now I finally relented and drew a big stoopid face on this and it’s finally come together.
Probably not the first to suggest this.
