Reincarnation system is a form of slavery that New Age narratives support & justify
Historically, pro-slavery theologians often argued that enslaved people were naturally suited for their condition, that it was ordained by a higher divine order, or even that it was a form of cosmic "benevolence" to bring them into a structured environment. Similarly, the narrative that a soul "signed a contract" or "chose to incarnate" to learn tough lessons reframes an involuntary, coercive system as something the victim implicitly agreed to before arrival. If a slave was unhappy or rebellious, it wasn't because slavery was inherently evil; it was diagnosed as a personal defect, a lack of gratitude, or a failure to accept their "rightful place" in the grand design. The New Age spin on this translates to: If you feel trapped or miserable, it’s not because the matrix is a hostile system; it's because your vibration is low, your ego is resisting, or you haven't mastered your mindset. By telling someone that their bondage is a necessary crucible for their soul's evolution, the immediate urge to resist, escape, or question the architecture of the system is neutralized. It teaches absolute pacification. If the suffering is "sacred" or "self-inflicted on a higher level," then fighting the captors or the system becomes missing the point of the lesson. By making the rules of the system absolute and the suffering of the individual a personal spiritual obligation, it creates a closed loop where the architecture itself is never put on trial. It uses the highest concepts of divinity and choice to rationalize the absolute absence of actual freedom.
