Saw this on Instagram and started my day with a chuckle.
WB G900 TriPro
So I don't run the screen on unless needed but for whatever reason the screen turns on when I turn the car on and then turns on when I turn the car off. I could understand it turning on when I turn the car on, but why does it turn on when I turn the car off? I have to tell it to turn off which it does.
Any ideas?
Fuse box question - Fuse tapper question
So I am trying to use a fuse tapper which means I have to make sure the pigtail is on the power out side of the fuse. If you look at the first picture you can see the layout of the fuses as well as a black line connecting the left side of the fuses and on the right there is a white line. I am not sure if these mean anything or if they do...what side is which. Which side is the power in vs power out. I guess if you plug it in wrong the accessory will work but not protected?
To make it even more confusing the passenger side fuse box based on how you read the numbers, is upside down?
On a S550 does anyone know which side is power vs power out? Do I need to buy a test light?
2016 Mustang GT battery replacement
All the AI's are telling mere to get AGM 96R/H5 type batteries but of course that's motor what comes standard(flood).
Are they wrong?
What have you all use as replacements?
Thanks!
ACC fuse for non-RAP circuit
Anyone know a good ACC fuse for non rep circuit for a dash cam that will turn off when the car turns off?
2016 Mustang GT premium convertible.
Above is what ChatGPT said use after it told me a RAP fuse woops... thanks for the dead battery.
Thanks!
First road trip...
Love it when the AirBnB has a car port!
Made it from Chicago to Ashville, NC with 2 Buccee's stops. Gotta love the roads down south.
Convertible Help
This is a message I submitted to WB Support but I also wanted to ask the community if anyone has had this problem.
I own a convertible and when the top is down I can see the reflection of my passengers body and my seats as reflections on the wolfbox. They are more pronounced than the actual images being displayed by the cameras. Is there some kind of screen protector that I can add or a setting to make it not do that? When the top is up I don't see the reflections. Any ideas?
Appreciate any help, thanks!
Rear dashcam
Any suggestions on getting the wire from the truck to the license plate bracket? Heard suggestions about feeding it through one of the license plate lights? Haven't tried yet so looking for ideas besides drilling.
Thanks
2016 S550 K member tear?
Happened to be under my car like any other Monday and I noticed this tear between a factory hole and the K member ... any one want to speculate and tell me if it is something concerning? Passenger has the tear (bottom) driver side looks normal(upper).
Thanks!
Dip Stick
Son's 2017 mustang ecoboost ... was checking his oil and his dip stick has a hash area and 1 hole... assuming the hole is perfect and the hashed area is add? Always thought there should be 2 holes?

We just changed guests oil a few months ago and it's super low... any idea why? I don't see any stains on the drive way. Any thing else I should check?
Clean/Cut/Buff/Ceramic
Sorry I feel like this is a dumb question that I have watched 20+ videos on and always seem to get different answers or they are all hiding that secret sauce that will get everything perfect.

Once a year(?) we will call this an average dude/ettes maintenence...
Clean
Clay bar/mit
Cut
Polish
Ceramic coat

Then can follow up with touchless every week and once a month hands on wash? This is what I normally do and pretty happy with how she looks. I am a fan of the waterless touch ups when you hit a nasty puddle or she get extra dusty.

Real question is, do you always cut and polish? Most of the time I don't feel the need to polish. I will also say I use very soft pads and really am not cutting very much, so maybe I am doing an in-between cut and polish. Is this bad or do it at your discretion? Also when your wiping off your cut/polish do you do this dry or a little damp? And...after you buff out your polish do you follow up with isotropic alcohol wipe down? I feel like if you ceramic coat after you polish is the coating sitting on top of the polish?

I fell like I am 90% there and generally happy with how she looks... Just need to refine the last little bit. Any help is appreciated!

Opinions on caliper color...
My son said why isn't it red... I said I like to be a little different. They are such a nice little flare that probably no one would notice but I like um.
Michelin CrossClimate 2 vs Pirelli P Zero
New to me 2016 Mustang GT Vert which came with Pirelli P Zero's staggered 255/275. Fronts are 2020 and rears are 2024. They were not happy in the cold and the fronts are aging so I decided to get some Michelin CrossClimate 2 (2026) squared setup I put them on some new rims 255 all the way around. The idea was to use the Pirelli's as my summer tires and the CC2's as my winter tires.
Summer is here so I mounted the Pirelli's and have been driving on them for a few days and quite shocked how poor they feel vs the CC2s.
Do you think this is an age thing or a quality thing? And I am noticing a pull to the left, is that a tire balance thing or alignment thing?
My car looks amazing until you look at it in a certain angles... how do I get rid of it?
