What city would you recommend! Please tell me the good the bad and the ugly!

Hi I’m 20(F) and my boyfriend(21) are moving to Miami for a short period probably a year or so (unless life keeps us there) I’ve been trying to do a little research of where to live, and I feel suck, I really do like hearing people’s honest opinions so tell me all your thoughts! I don’t necessarily have like a lot of things I’m looking for. I’m really open to a lot. Main things for me
\-Safety. ( I understand it’s Miami and everywhere is dangerous in on way or another but ideal not a scary ass place or nothing like that
\-$$$ i know it’s all expensive but obviously some cities are better than others. I’m not trying to live in like a high-rise nice apartment or anything. I plan on finding other roommates if I can or renting a room
\-walkable. I will have a a car because I’m driving there from Michigan, but I would still love for a lot of stuff to be around where I can walk and explore and do a lot
\-other little things, I am a dancer. I’m going down there for dance so if there’s a city where there’s a lot of opportunities or just entertainment or performing, that would be awesome but if not, I’m totally OK with that too. I don’t really plan on living like downtown Miami. but honestly, if you can give me some good reasons why to live there I would I’m also not opposed to living maybe even Fort Lauderdale area. Idk my head kinda everywhere in this area any suggestions or recommendations would be beyond helpful

20 F moving from MI to Miami, need a lot of advice!

Hi, I’m 20F and I plan on moving to Miami in the beginning of January. I’ve never not lived at my parents house. I have so many questions. And I feel so dumb asking them lol! Even if you don’t have an answer to all my questions if it’s just one that would help me so much thank you in advance

1.) renting a room vs. finding a roommate? I’ve been looking on Facebook I know renting a room is cheaper, but I don’t fully understand what that means. Does that mean I have room at the person’s house/apt that posted it, or other people, also I know this sounds stupid but I’m assuming I have access to the kitchen and shi but is there like boundaries and stuff? Like what does renting a room really look like.

2.) what should rent look like, and then when they say including utilities, what does that mean/what utilities should I look for?

2.) what type of job should I look for? Serving fast food retail gyms/spas??? I am a dancer that’s really why I wanna move down there, but I’m gonna need a job obviously to pay for bill bills. I know Miami is not cheap.

3.) ways to save money once I’m down there on food or gas or necessities and just anything I do plan on driving down there so I will have my own car once I’m down there

4.) anything I should buy now here slowly overtime so that I don’t have to buy it once I get there to maybe save me a little bit of money.
