Hi guys

I'm a muslim woman 25 years old from Switzerland and I met a guy from morocco, 28 years old, on vacation. I was the one who actually started talking to him randomly.

Since we met we are texting and calling each other 24/7 and we really enjoy that for now. So I'm a bit worried on how it's going to turn out, because it's another continent and we have problems with Visa and so on. He wants to meet me in my hometown and suggested to meet in spain or portugal before I fly to morocco if I feel safer in a european country.

What might be red flags and what do you think is a realistic outcome? I'm posting this here because I'd like to get realistic advice and maybe thoughts on how you might feel as a moroccan when you hear that from a friend or how you might handle it personally.

Vor ein paar Tagen habe ich mich ausgesperrt und habe sowohl eine Freundin als auch meinen Vermieter angeschrieben.

Ersterer besitzt (meines Wissens nach illegal) einen Ersatzschlüssel für meine Wohnung. Er ist leider nicht da, ich solle auf meine Freundin warten.

Die Freundin kam mit dem Schlüssel an und siehe da, ich habe von Anfang an einen falschen, unbrauchbaren Schlüssel erhalten. Er sieht fast so aus wie mein funktionierender Schlüssel, ist es aber nicht. Warum auch immer habe ich noch ein Bild vom Einzug und auf dem Bild ist genau dieser falsche Schlüssel zu sehen. Ich kann also meinem Vermieter einen Beweis liefern.

Ich musste in letzter Instanz den Schlüsseldienst rufen, welcher mir eine Rechnung von 250€ ausgestellt hat.

Da ich es nicht einsehe die Rechnung selbst zu zahlen OBWOHL ich mich durch die Freundin abgesichert habe, will ich das mein Vermieter zahlt. Aber er stellt sich quer.

Ich habe vom Schlüsseldienst dokumentieren lassen, dass der Ersatzschlüssel nicht funktioniert.

Was sagt ihr dazu?

Deutsche sind anders Delulu, es wird hier wirklich geglaubt, der eigene Song habe aufgrund von "P0litik" schlecht abgeschnitten. ich habe mir gerade den Spaß erlaubt und mir die Schnelldurchläufe des aktuellen ESC, den von 2023, 2022 und 2021 angeschaut und was soll ich sagen?

Bis auf 2023 war jeder letzte oder Bottom 5 Platz gerechtfertigt. Die letzten 2 Jahre waren Mittelfeld Platzierungen die ich hier nicht mit einbeziehe. Wobei meiner Meinung nach Isaak mit seinem 12. Platz noch viel zu gut war. Es gab definitiv Ausreisser die aber hier auch niemanden zufriedenstellen. Und auch 2023 war ein Nischensong der ähnlich aufgefasst wurde wie der Metalsong aus Serbien der gestern aufgetreten ist. Es ist doch klar, dass ein Glam Rock Song anders ankommt als guter Pop? Das rechtfertigt den letzten Platz nicht, aber das lässt sich bei jedem ESC beobachten mit Ausnahme von 2021 als Måneskin gewonnen hat. Rock/Metal kommt einfach bei weniger Zuschauern an.

NEIN. ES IST NICHT DIE BÖSE BÖSE "PUNKTEZUSCHIEBEREI" VON BALKANLÄNDERN UND GANZ SICHER AUCH NICHT DER FAKT DASS DEUTSCHLAND AKTUELL RECHT UNBELIEBT IST. Und ey, abgesehen davon dass Ex-Yu Länder alle die selbe Sprache sprechen und ein Land waren und sich daher mit den Songs, den Texten und den Künstlern die ländergrenzenüberfreifend bekannt sind identifizieren können. Aber nein, der Deutsche der Montenegro im Kopf mit Afghanistan gleichsetzt kann sowas nicht verstehen.

Es ist bodenlos schlechte Musik von Deutschland.

Sarahs Song war an Peinlichkeit nicht zu überbieten. I'm on fire fire, you're a liar liar ist Grundschulenglisch. Inszenierung und Charisma Hin oder Her. Es ist einfach nicht gut, nichts besonderes. Ich habe diesen Song mal mitgesungen und kam mir vor wie ein Schulmädchen. Genau so wie dieses bodenlose "I don't feel hate" oder der zugegeben schöne RADIOsong "Rockstars".

Aber im Vergleich zu allen anderen ist das einfach nicht gut.

Und der gemeine Deutsche denkt wirklich es liege an irgendwas anderem.

So I know, the guy Giorgi is a trained singer and pianist and the girls (Both Mariam lol) did other professions after their childhood stardom.

I felt like the one who was on his left and sang first was ok, the other one ruined her line and when I saw it I felt like she definitely knows what is happening in that moment and they dont have a chance anymore, then the girs looked at each other in a weird way, camera could caption it.

In general it felt like both of the girls didnt want to be there, felt off in general. And then I was sorry for Giorgi because you can see that he really wanted all of this and he obv was the face of it. I found it a bit cringe sometimes but only until I knew their professional backround.

What are your thoughts on this?

I personally am a Person who cares about Lyrics and meaning behind songs and everybody just pushes this one away only paying attention to the drop and the show.

But this one SLAPS. The lyrics are simple yet meaningful, I don't know how to interpretate it correctly but it may be a) about a guy or b) about drugs/alcohol/excessive partying. For me who experienced a toxic on off break up this song carried me through this whole time.

The drop and instrumentation UNDERLINES everything, it onomatopoetically draws something. Because it's not just happy and dance techno music, it's way different because of the tonal structure.

I kid you not, I am German with bosnian heritage and I am so so so sick of all those people, especially in my country Germany complaining about pOliTiCaL bloc voting. O am used to Balkan Culture quite a lot. No I'm not talking about anything from 2022, that's a whole other problem. But just NO. No.

Every fcking person in the Balkan knows Hari Mata Hari, Marija Serifovic, Zeljko Joksimovic, especially king Dino Merlin and so on. Even in Slovenia they blast Hurricane in their cars. THE SAME THING HAPPENED LAST YEAR WITH GERMANY's ABOR AND TYNNA. YES THEY ARE AUSTRIAN AS WELL BUT THEY SING IN GERMAN WHICH IS THE OFFICIAL LANGUAGE OF AUSTRIA AS WELL.

I hate my fellow countrymen as soon as they talk about the bad bad bloc voting. There IS no bloc voting, well, not the kind of paranoia "everyone supports their neighbors just because of being neighbors and not because of shared language and artists".

I am so NOT looking forward to the aftermath in Germany after our lovely Sarah Engels being not in the top 10 (which is for germans considered bad)

A few years ago, I was talking to someone from a dating app. We had a good vibe, but at some point the conversation just faded out.

A long time later, he randomly reached out again (triggered by a Whatsapo Status I posted). We chatted a bit, then it died down again from my side, I had a boyfriend.

A few months ago, I ended up messaging him, and he replied right away. We pretty quickly set up a meeting but in a professional context (I am a hairdresser and he booked an appointment with me).

Now the confusing part:
The whole interaction felt… hard to categorize. It was very relaxed, we talked a lot, and the vibe was really good, almost like a date, but not officially.

At the end, he was very friendly, hugged me, tipped me, and said something like “see you soon, I’m looking forward to it.”

What’s throwing me off:
I happened to notice his phone background, and it was a photo of a woman from the back on a cliff at the sea (not a generic image). But he didn’t mention anything about being in a relationship, and in general didn’t bring up his relationship status at all. Also I'm on vacation next week and he asked if I was with a friend (in a way like "oh not a boy right?")

Now I’m wondering

• Is this just normal friendliness in that kind of setting?
• Or does it come across more like interest, just in a cautious way?

And in general: Do you think it’s unusual for someone to reappear after years and then initiate something like this?

Of course, she has La Yugular which is inspired by Sufi Islam. Also the only song that really addresses Jesus is Mio Cristo piange diamanti.

I really dont know how to feel about it actually.

So there are also some other songs like Berghain, Mundo nuevo, la perla, novia robot, focu ranni, la rumba, sauvignon blanc etc, without obvious references to god,.

I personally find it a bit too much when I listen to Mio Cristo. The lyrics are absolutely beautiful, I still feel like she desperatley wanted to build in a christian reference. Same with dios es un stalker (which was a little cringe for me to read as a song title)

Hi guys I'm currently rewatching 2015 and there is no single joke entry, if you want to count UK I get it but well..

The years from 2010 were nearly no joke entries if you dont count silly ones like ovo je balkan, cheesecake, cliche love song up until Eat your Salad.

What is you likely explanation?

I regard the 2015 edition as one of the classiest
