With the recent influx of Todo slander and people saying Todo is a Megumi victim, I figured I’d offer a friendly reminder that this is the same guy who couldn’t figure out how to make a barrier while Yuji (who still counts on his fingers) managed it just fine. Megumi stans cry about having to defend their boy yet call you sensitive for pushing back. It’s ironic.

I feel like one every six months we have a week straight of people trying to slander Todo. It’s always the same memes they used last time. Gets their obligatory karma and “oh wow todo slander” comments and fucks off when it stops having traction.

I do love fresh Todo slander though. I find it funny.

Why lie Verizon? Just say you fired everyone who could do the job. Do you think we’re stupid? Who talks like this? It’s almost insulting how dumb they think we are.

Maybe I’m overthinking this, but Todo’s technique has always seemed a little weird to me.

I understand the basic mechanics of Boogie Woogie. He claps and swaps the positions of two targets with cursed energy. Simple enough. But it doesn’t make sense how he determines and understands how the orientation works after his swap.

Whenever Todo swaps Yuji into position for an attack, Yuji always seems to end up facing exactly where he needs to be to immediately continue the attack. To me that either means he mathematically understands and does hyper quick and reactionary responses to place Yuji exactly where he needs to be or his technique gives him the ability to rotate him in any direction he needs in that moment.

It’s one of those details that seems minor until you start thinking about how much of Todo’s fighting style depends on people ending up exactly where they need to be. Appreciate any discussion since this has bugged me for a while.

Also according to the comments that I can make out it might just be a reversal image of the first cover art. I haven’t seen anything about a body swap but idk. It takes place 10 years after the end of the original story and is called Part/Season 2.

Some comments were poking fun of him coming back to Estate Developer after finishing Bountiful Harvest (Or Designer after Farming).

Looks like we might be getting a part 2 of the Manhwa as well given this goes well.

I have a problem lol. Just picked it up for the sticker price. I have most of the games excluding the CD-I games I’m actively looking for. Got the WW WiiU and Phantom Hourglass DS LITE but I swear as soon as I bought it the plastic around the hinge on the power light side cracked. Gotta repair it soon.

That said gonna replay it now that I have this! It’s been a few years since I played the 3ds remake. I beat the original 64 version two years ago and haven’t touched it since. Still remains one of my favorite games.
