So happy with how my stained glass Dratini and Volcarona turned out! (OC)

I’m petty sure the plural of Dratini is just Dratini? Do you prefer the original, or shiny version? Also just finished up this Volcarona and so pleased with the colours! These are completely handmade and took over 50 hours total across the 3 pieces!

Today’s harvest from South Wales

The heat has really taken a toll on the garden but we’re still getting some lovely things, the tomatoes are in full swing now!

costoluto fiorentino beefsteaks, tomato ‘tiger’, green zebra, black cherry, Millefleur Yellow Vine Tomato and some random ones from some nice supermarket cherry tomatoes. Pattypan squash, round green courgette, purple French beans, runner beans and a boothby’s blonde cucumber (last of the season) and some raspberries. All organic

Will I need to take MJ forever for PCOS?

I have pcos and my bmi is 40.9. I have never taken any weight loss medication, I am considering MJ as I have insulin resistance and my weight has been the same for 3 years, no matter what I do. I recently transitioned to the coil from the implant and lost 5kg but I’ve not lost any more, so I think it was just an adjustment. I take metformin and inositol but I don’t think they do anything really.

I would love some advice. If I take MJ and lose lots of weight, will I then just put it back on when I stop? I already eat a pretty good diet, barely any UPF, lots of veg and protein, and I do walk regularly but plan to start walking every day - but will this keep it off?

MJ is an expensive thing that I can barely afford so I don’t want to be on it forever; can anyone with PCOS advise if they were able to keep the weight off after MJ?

Any advice appreciated

Also I am worried about side effects, I have a fear of vomiting - is there anything I can do to avoid this?

Can someone explain simply what I need to do with my coin that’s still in Binance? UK

I still have a few different coins left in Binance that I don’t want to convert and I need to get out of Binance - can someone advise what I actually need to do please? I’ve read through so many of the emails they’ve sent but I just can’t wrap my head around it. Can I just open up something like crypto.com and transfer it over? Any help appreciated

Holding my baby boy (cat) today and thinking this must be why breeders do it

I’m high af and holding my cat, who’s flopped over sleeping in my arms makes me fill with parental/protective love and just enjoy cuddling him so much. I think this is the closest I will ever feel to that feeling the breeders describe - I don’t ever want kids of course, but this feels good and it makes me think that if this is what they feel I see why they do it without thinking about the logistics

What’s your guilty pleasure song that you know is garbage, but love anyway?

I have a few songs that I still have on my playlist from when I was a kid, mainly from the albums “‘pop party’ and ‘pop party 2’. There are a few but the song that inspired this post was Gareth Gates - Spirit in the Sky (with special guests ‘the Kumars’)

Just to clarify, this song was on one of those albums, and I am not a religious person, and I don’t even know who the Kumars are - but I love this song and when it comes on I know all the words

What’s your garbage guilty pleasure song?

Which would you save from certain death - a newborn baby or a 25 year old?

You can imagine a burning building, trolley problem or whatever situation you prefer, but you can only save one or the other, and there are no physical limitations (you don’t need to be stronger to lift the adult, for example, and you are not at risk by saving either)

You have to chose one to save entirely on which you feel is worth saving more

Edit - you cannot choose based on the idea that the adult can save themselves. The adult is unconscious and will certainly die if not saved, and so is the baby. The adult and baby were both put into the situation by someone else let’s say, and it’s not a reflection of the 25 year old that they can’t save themselves, or that they put themselves there.

Is this ramen shop still open?

I took this photo on a trip to Tokyo in 2017, it was the first ramen I had in Japan. ¥390 is and was insanely cheap for a meal, and I wondered if inflation has either forced the place to close, or to raise the price (and change the sign) - it was in Akihabara. Does anyone know if it’s still there?
