To celebrate the summer and show my appreciation, I'm offering a 30% discount on the annual premium subscription for anyone in the community.

To claim the discount, you just need to:

  1. Open the 1iPTV app on any Android device or Android TV.
  2. Enter the promo code 1IPTVSUMMER during the premium checkout.

Once the subscription is activated, your premium status is instantly valid across all your devices—including Mac, iPhone, iPad, Fire TV, Samsung, and LG!

Built a native Android TV IP-TV + video player with VLC + ExoPlayer, looking for feedback

Hey everyone,

I'm an indie dev and over the last few months I've been building a media player for Android TV / Google TV.

It started as an IP-TV / M3U player, but kinda grew into a more general purpose video player. You can use it for IP-TV playlists, YouTube playback, local files, and network streams.

Under the hood it uses both VLC and ExoPlayer. Whenever ExoPlayer can handle playback reliably it uses the native Android stack, and when it can't, it falls back to VLC for broader compatibility.

Main goal was to make it feel fast and TV-first instead of looking like a stretched phone app. Remote friendly navigation, quick startup, smooth scrolling, focus on lower end devices, and a clean player UI were big priorities.

Some of the features currently available:

* Picture in Picture

* AirPlay

* Chromecast

* Recording

* Cross-device sync

* Favorites and watch history sync

* Multiple playlists

* Native player view

* VLC fallback for difficult streams

* Support for local files and network streams

Some of these features are part of the premium version, while the core player remains free to use.

The app is also available on macOS, iPhone, iPad, Android phones, LG TVs and a few other platforms, with cloud sync between devices. You can start watching on TV and continue later on another device without setting things up again.

Current pricing:

* $12/year for up to 5 devices

* $18/year for up to 10 devices

Subscription works across supported platforms, so one subscription covers Android TV, Android, macOS, iOS and LG TV.

Also since I'm posting here, if anyone wants to try premium:

Use promo code **1IPTVSUMMER** for **30% off**

App link:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.holdapps.oneplayer

Would really love feedback from Android TV users:

* what features do you expect from a modern TV video player nowadays?

* what makes you choose TiviMate, VLC or other players?

* does the pricing seem reasonable?

* would you prefer one time purchase, subscription, or both?

* any pain points in existing IP-TV / video apps that still annoy you?

Still actively working on it and improving things every week or so. Happy to answer questions and hear any feedback, good or bad.

Thanks for reading 😄

I built a cross-platform IPTV player that works on every device (30% Off Code)

Hey everyone,

I'm the developer behind 1iPTV. I wanted a clean media player that feels native and works seamlessly across all my devices, so I decided to build one.

It is completely free to use without a subscription. If you want to unlock advanced features like multi-device syncing, we also have an optional premium tier.

If you want to try the premium version, you can use the promo code 1IPTVSUMMER for 30% off the annual plan. (Note: Because of app store policies, you have to enter this code inside the Android or Android TV app, but once it's applied, it unlocks premium on all your platforms, including Mac/iOS and Smart TVs).

Key features:

  • Native apps for iOS, macOS, Android, Fire OS, Samsung, and LG.
  • Fast loading and zapping, even with massive playlists.
  • Simple, uncluttered interface.
  • Cross-device syncing for playlists and favorites.
  • Supports M3U and Xtream Codes.

I'd really appreciate any feedback, feature requests, or bug reports if you decide to give it a try. Thanks!

Built a native macOS IPTV & video player with VLC + AVPlayer, looking for feedback

Hey everyone,

I'm an indie dev and over the last few months I've been building a media player called 1IPTV for macOS.

It started as an IPTV / M3U player, but kinda grew into a more general purpose video player. You can use it for IPTV playlists, YouTube playback, local files, and network streams.

Under the hood it uses both VLC and Apple AVPlayer. If AVPlayer can handle the stream it will use the native Apple stack, and when it can't, it falls back to VLC for broader compatibility.

Main goal was to make it feel like a real Mac app and not a port. So native menus, keyboard shortcuts, drag & drop, Apple Silicon support, iCloud sync, Picture in Picture, etc.

Also worth mentioning, the app is available on other platforms too (iOS, TV, etc.), and your library / playlists sync across devices, so you can start watching on one device and continue on another.

The app is free to try, with some advanced features behind a one time purchase. Trying to avoid subscriptions and keep things simple.

You can check it out here:

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/1iptv-iptv-video-player/id6759380564

Would really love feedback from fellow Mac users:

  • what features do you expect from a modern video player nowadays?
  • what makes you choose VLC, IINA, Infuse or others?
  • any pain points in existing IPTV / video apps that still annoy you?
  • does the free vs paid split feel fair?

Still actively working on it and improving stuff weekly or so. Happy to hear any feedback, good or bad.
