Aztecs: The Last Sun is officially out of Early Access!

Hey Reddit! We’re beyond excited to finally share that Aztecs: The Last Sun has left Early Access! 🚀

This full release brings everything we’ve learned from the community into a complete, polished experience:

Here’s what’s new and what you can experience:
• Level 4 buildings and an Enlightenment perk in the tech tree - deeper city progression and more strategic options.
• God Offerings - special decisions that affect divine favor and city resilience.
• The Sun Pillar system - building all four modules weakens the Moon Goddess’s influence and changes night survival.
• Expanded story content - 2–3 hours of new quests, extra lore, and a new area in the Valley of Mexico.
• New game modes - offering different playstyles and strategic approaches.
• New difficulty levels - letting both newcomers and veterans adjust the challenge to their liking.

So what Aztecs: The Last Sun is about?
• City building with survival strategy - manage resources, build canals, and reclaim land on challenging terrain.
• Balance divine favor with economy - perform rituals or make tough choices that shape your people’s fate.
• Survival meets simulation - night attacks and the Moon Goddess keep every choice tense and meaningful.

We can’t wait for both Early Access veterans and new players to explore Tenochtitlán, experiment with strategies, and experience the full story for the first time. Thanks to everyone who joined us on this journey - your feedback helped make this moment possible!

Aztecs: The Last Sun - new story content and deeper systems now live

Hi! Our game came out from Early Access, and here's what we've prepared for this special occasion. If you haven't played the game before, now it's a perfect time to do so!

We’ve introduced:
• Level 4 buildings and an Enlightenment perk in the tech tree - giving you deeper city progression and more strategic options.
• God Offerings - special decisions that affect divine favor and city resilience.
• The Sun Pillar system - where building all four modules helps weaken the Moon Goddess’s influence and changes how night survival works.
• An expanded story with around 2-3 hours of new quests, extra lore, and a new area in the Valley of Mexico to explore.
• New game modes - allowing players to experience different playstyles and strategies.
• New difficulty levels - letting both newcomers and veterans adjust the challenge to their liking.

All of this gives more weight to choices you make, pushes survival challenges further, and opens up a richer narrative layer we can’t wait for players to dive into.

Let us know what you think!

We’re excited to share that Aztecs: The Last Sun is officially out now!

Hey builders! 🛠️
Aztecs: The Last Sun has officially launched! 🔥
Thanks to everyone who helped shape it during Early Access! From now on, every decision and expansion is in your hands... 👀

In the game you take on the role of the Tlatoani - the divine ruler of Tenochtitlán. Build your city on the marshes of Lake Texcoco, terraform the land, and expand your capital while balancing economy, divine favor, and survival.

You’ll uncover an epic story-driven campaign with meaningful moral choices, confront nightly threats like the Moon Goddess’s attacks, and manage rituals and strategic decisions that shape the fate of your people.

Thank you to everyone who joined us during Early Access - your feedback helped shape nearly every system, and we’re excited to keep building with you!

You arrive in the Wild West with a few settlers and limited supplies.

You can only focus on ONE thing first:

  1. Food production
  2. Defense
  3. Housing
  4. Exploration
  5. Economy/trading

What do you pick and why?

We’re building a game where early decisions shape everything later, so we’re curious how players think when starting from scratch.

The game we’re working on is called Wild West Pioneers, if anybody’s interested 🤠

Hey folks!

We’re working on a game called Wild West Pioneers where you start as a small group of settlers and slowly build up your own frontier town.

You’ll need to:

  • gather resources and survive harsh conditions
  • manage your settlers and their needs
  • defend against bandits
  • expand from a tiny camp into a full-blown western settlement

We’re aiming for a mix of survival + city-building with a strong “living world” feel.

Here’s the Steam page if you’re curious:

Would love any feedback - what do you think of this kind of blend?
