Where do I go to find varieties and such for American coins. So many websites and all the ones I've found suck. I like the style of coinsandcanada.com. haven't found one that's easy to navigate like that yet.

Hey all. I know nothing about engines and currently learning as I go. I have an 1982 454. I'm changing the intake manifold. I took the old one off and a bunch of chunks fell to where the...crank shaft? Is. Theres a lot of carbon build up in the heads as well. The engine currently has no fluids in it. It's sitting out of the truck. I'd like to get it back in before the snow flies. But with my lack of knowledge I'm wondering if I'm better off taking the whole thing apart and getting it cleaned out properly and getting it back together. I'm not going hardcore and getting a bunch of upgrades. I just want it running. For all the stuff that fell down I'd imagine I could flip it in the engine stand and take the oil pan off to clean it out. But again, lack of knowledge, I'm not sure how far I need to go or should be going with this. Can I just blow all that crud into the oil pan and clean it out that way? Is there anywhere else I'd need to clean stuff out that I missed?
Anybody really into wrenching on classic vehicles who isn't at work today? I need help hooking up an engine in my c10. It's definitely above my head but I'm slowly plugging away at it.
Engine and transmission is in the truck. Now I have no clue how to connect and where all the things go. I'm lost. Vacuum hoses, electrical, all the things going to the carb. Still need the radiator in and battery tray. I'm sure I'm missing pieces. Haynes manual is useless. Is there somewhere I can go that helps me with this part of the process?
I've always wanted to get something graded. Dunno why. I have a 1991 quarter and 2 men's hockey raised 2. Are these worth getting graded? If so what company is most reputable for these coins?
My Dad biught this new in 1974. He was on a road trip in the states in 73 and fell in love with this style of truck. He came home and ordered one. 1974 Cheyenne super 10. Factory 454. Shipped it to Vancouver and drove it from there back home to Fort St John, BC. I finally got it out of storage with plans to get the engine back in and hopefully drive it before the snow flies. The only thing better would be working on it with him. I hope all of you on here have your Dad's around to share these trucks with and for those that don't, 🍻 beers on me. Gone but not forgotten.
Can I reuse this mount, providing I can get that bolt out? Or is the rubber so pooched that I can't? If I can't where can I score another one? I'm in Canada and would like to get one sooner than Amazon can send one.
Finally scored the uncolored summit series in my change. Been looking for what seems like ever. Now I need to look an see what else I'm missing. Pretty sure 2012 no security is still missing from my collection.

Because of the flooding issues, sump pumps being sold out and more rain coming. This is what I've done to help my basement dry out. Opened a window and put a fan to blow air out of the basement. Opened another window on the other side of the basement for air flow. Definitely noticed dryer air and the walls drying faster. We also have a dehumidifier set up. Since doing the fan in the window trick the dehumidifier hasn't really filled up much at all. As long as the fan covers the window. Use cardboard to fill any empty spaces. No it doesn't matter what kind of fan, as long as it blows out the air and covers the window. The air flow will help dry your basement and helps remove that wet smell.
I called a contractor who was kind enough to answer some questions as I've never dealt with this before and know nothing about this. Don't wait for insurance, start pulling up the carpet. Remove all the underlay. If it sits to long it'll mold and then you'll definitely be replacing your carpet. If you can take the carpet outside to dry. Throw out the underlay. Our flooding wasn't brutal, we pulled the carpet back, cut out underlay and dropped the carpet on coffee tables, wooden chairs. Anything to allow it to dry off the ground. If you're going so far as to cut open walls. Typically the bottom of the drywall will have to be removed. 2' from the floor up. Cut that out and if the insulation is wet, it's gotta be removed. I cut mine where it no longer felt wet. If the insulation is fiberglass, it's gotta go. Pink, yellow or white are typical colors. If it's Rockwool, you SHOULD be fine but if get a professional opinion before believing me.

Id like to get get my dad's truck back on the road. But I need help. It's a project that I never wanted to do to begin with but things happen. It's a 454 engine and trans going into a 74 Chevy. Willing to help and learn but also willing to compensate. The engine runs. I just ordered a seals because of obvious oil leaks. I'm not wanting to do anything crazy with it just get it together in the truck and be able to drive. If anyone can or anyone knows anyone able to help me please let me know or DM me. I understand I'll likely need more parts and nothing is easy or simple but I don't think it's a major. Any help would be appreciated thank you

Hey all. I'm from Canada and there's a site that lists all Canadian coins including bank tokens, colonial and all recognized errors. I have a decent amount of american change and lots of pennies. Is there a web site that lists American coins and errors to watch for? I've googled for one but all I find are top 10 most pricey coins or whatever and it doesn't really help me out at all. Filled with adds and no answers. I've ended up googling each separate coin which is a pain. Thank you in advance.
Is there a point to keep the copper pennies? I know some people stack em because of the copper. I have a bunch of them. I'm not taking them to the bank. But what's the point of stacking them? Genuinely want to know. I realize copper is valuable. But these are coins. Can't melt em or scrap them so what's the benefits?
Need some help for a book or resources. I have a 454 for my dad's truck. It runs but I definitely want to gasket everything before putting it in his truck. I realise it's not a huge undertaking but there's more about this that I don't know than I do know. The engines out of an 82. I have the gasket kit ordered. Is the Haynes manual good? I've had them before and usually don't end up using them. The how to rebuild Chevy big blocks looks decent. But for the summer I just want the engine to run and can worry about upgrades/mods over winter. Just wanna be able to take him for rides before he's gone.

There is, or was when I drove by 30 mins ago, a scrap metal dumpster truck tipped over on its side coming onto the overpass from henday northbound. He got to the acceleration and the wind flipped him. Cutting off the right hand lane. West bound is down to 1 lane now. Can still go around and get to the offramp for henday south of Sherwood freeway.
