Got all these just from today
I've gotten 10s of millions worth of fame in the last week or so just from playing Crystal Arena and Faction Warfare. If anyone wants fame real quick without fear of losing their gear, I'd say these are the ways.
Bianca: "Kiana. Dad bought us two cups of noodles. Where's my cup?"
This is the best I could come up with. Agree or disagree?
Honestly everything about this patch was fine to me. I think its too late for the devs to add a new endgame mode (unless they surprise us in 2.5). The photoshoot game mode they have in ZZZ would be really cool here. Some of the visuals of characters in the game are beautiful.
We're in the endgame now
From the official v9.0 trailer out now.
Astral Ring guide
I'm making this guide cause of a certain individual so hopefully they see it, but if anyone is confused on how astral ring works they can also use it.
Every picture is in order so i will explain everything picture by picture starting from the second one. The first one that has all the astral ring symbols does not count.
2nd Picture: Choosing a leader
With Part 2 characters the leader (the first-left most character in the line up) determines which Astral Ring will be activated. When you select a Part 2 character, for example Seele, the game will show you all characters that are compatible with Seele. It shows you by Lighting up all the characters that are compatible with Seele.
As you can see in the picture, since Seele is the first character selected, the game will automatically rearrange all characters to show you all the characters that are compatible with Seele. The little astral ring box icon inside every character icon lights up. All characters compatible with Seele have their astral ring icon lit up and been rearranged so you can see them all easier.
3rd Picture: World Star Astral Ring
This is the astral ring that when activated characters leave and trigger marks that are on the battle field. The marks can only be triggered by spamming basic attack.
4th Picture: Domain Resonance attribute
This indicates that the character can support characters that have the world star astral ring.
5th Picture: Characters who can support World Star astral ring
The characters circled in red can only trigger the marks left on the battlefield. They can not leave marks themselves.
6th Picture: Wheel of Destiny Astral Ring
when this astral ring is activated, the other 2 characters become unusable and kind of act like ELFS/Astral Ops. When you press these unusable characters they will do a brief attack and provide the leader character (the one who activated the stellar outburst) shadows that will appear that copy every move they make, dealing double the damage.
7th Picture: Harmonized shadow star
This indicates that the character can support characters that have the Wheel of Destiny astral ring.
8th Picture: characters who can support Wheel of Destiny astral ring
when stellar outburst is activated these characters will not be playable for a certain period of time IF THEY ARE NOT THE LEADER (if they are not the left-most character).
9th Picture: Law of Ascension Astral Ring
When this astral ring is activated, characters will be able to use their QTE in quick succession after they have performed their charged or combo attack. When Stellar Outburst is activated during battle, all characters will have their QTEs available and enhanced. When the QTE is used characters will have their own special combo attack. (See each Law of Ascension characters enhanced combo attack in the tutorials)
10th Picture: Heavenly Shift attribute
This indicates the character can support characters who have the law of ascension astral ring
11th Picture: characters who support Law of Ascension astral ring
When stellar outburst is activated these characters will be able to perform their enhanced combo attack.
12th Picture: Grail of Infinitude Astral Ring
When this astral ring is activated, the leader will be the only character to consume SP as they consume an extremely large amount to perform their ultimate attacks.
13th Picture: Symbiosis attribute
This indicates that the character can support characters who have the grail of infinitude astral ring, meaning that this character will not be able to consume SP
Exceptions:
If another grail of infinitude is included in the team, that character will also consume lots of SP to perform their attacks. This does not affect the leader character
14th Picture: characters who support grail of infinitude astral ring
When stellar outburst is activated in battle, the leader takes all the SP. The other characters are completely unable to use SP. Support characters who also have the grail of infinitude astral ring will be given their super cool ultimate at no SP cost.
15th Picture: Rite of Oblivion
This is known as the universal support astral ring, meaning that it can activate any leader skill.
16th Picture: Omniscient Star attribute
This attribute indicates that this character can support other characters that have the Rite of Oblivion astral ring
17th Picture: characters who support Rite of Oblivion
When stellar outburst is activated, these characters will have their own special attack active until stellar outburst is deactivated.
Rite of Oblivion characters DO NOT WORK WITH EVERY CHARACTER. They only activate the leader skill of characters. If for example Vita is in a team that has Hi Love Elf Elysia as the leader, Vita will still have her SP because she does not have the Symbiosis attribute. PLEASE DO NOT CONFUSE ASTRAL RING WITH ATTRIBUTE
Example 2
If Dragon Coralie is in a team with Wings of Panacea Seele, then Coralie will not trigger any marks on the battlefield because she does not have the Domain Resonance attribute.
Hope this helped you sir/madam and everyone else.
This is a really fun
Note: I took this screenshot long before I finished the event.
Reminds me of AFK journey, in a good way. Adding type counters was a very good idea cause that made it more strategic than it should be. I also like the AFK leveling up. you literally don't even have to grind anything, just come back later or the next day.
I also like that they didn't add timegate to the stages. You can play all 3 chapters from beginning to end, which makes leveling up characters so much faster, since some of pulls is locked behind certain stages.
I thought there was going to be a story cause of the dialogue cutscene at the beginning with AI-chan but there wasn't, which isn't a problem to me. The only flaw (which is kind of nitpicky to be honest) is the AFK Level up. I know I said at first I like but the downside to that system is that if you still felt like you wanted to keep playing you couldn't cause you wouldn't be strong enough to beat whatever stage made you to stop. You are forced to touch grass wait.
In my opinion I see this gamemode to have endgame potential. If they reset the batteries you get from playing against other players every week, increase the capacity and add new characters every patch or two, this would be a hit in my books. 9/10
What are your thoughts?
Someone convince me not to
Knowing what's coming next patch, I feel kinda stupid if I missed this.
2 things I wanna talk about (Part 2 chapter 10 - 13 spoiler and tiny HI3 x HSR lore)
1st picture
I take screenshots of text that I think is important for the story, so when I went back to look at some stuff from previous chapters I came across this. I feel so stupid cause I've been confused about where the rifts come from but they've been explained a long time ago.
2nd picture
I'm not well versed in Star Rail but from what I looked up, Curios are artifacts that most of them are found in Herta's space station. They can be found anywhere so its actually possible that Sonque actually had a curio business.
"Don't worry everyone, Vita is good now." Then she pulls out looks like this
I don't know about you guys but in my eyes, I genuinely cannot tell if Vita has ulterior motives or not, which makes her such a well written character to me.
How to properly rotate this team
Who should be first in line. Specific combos. Anything will help
ngl Chapter 12 confused me (spoiler)
The only thing I managed to understand was that Leylah actually brought back Senadina, but not the same one that was in Difeng. Its the one that we started with back in the early chapters, with no memories of the past.
The callback to chapter 1 with extra context was easy to understand. The last fight scene though was confusing. Can someone give the tldr of everything that happened. Especially that last scene.
Should I get Fallen Order and Jedi Survivor?
Looking at the steam reviews, most people say that Fallen Order is fine but when it comes to Jedi Survivor, its very buggy. Some people even complain about the EA app giving them issues. Do you still recommend I get them? I don't want just one btw. If you guys recommend Fallen Order then Jedi Survivor should be bought as well. It wouldn't be satisfying for me knowing that I played one and not the other.
