2. Are any attempts to “suppress” human nature futile?

I recently just binged watch all of king of queens and I was shocked by how good it was beginning to end. Usually with shows that go on for that long there is a very apparent decrease in quality. That’s something which in my opinion king of queens didn’t have. I remember season 9 being a lot worse, but I’m pleasantly surprised that wasn’t the case. There are obviously seasons which are better than others, and the show can definitely have its low points, but overall I enjoyed all of the seasons. This is one of the few shows I can consistently rewatch multiple times without getting bored.

I’ve been thinking about how some people are unable to achieve their dreams. One such example is actors must give up on their dreams. I’m fully aware that not everyone can be an A-list actor, but if someone truly enjoys acting they should be able to do that on some level.

I say this because with the obsession with A.I. replacing jobs, I wonder what will be left for people to do. From what I know businesses are focused on efficiency and limiting cost. If that’s the case then it makes perfect sense that companies are pushing for A.I.

So if we know that at this rate A.I. will take over jobs, then what will be left for people to do? It’s not like people will be able to do jobs, because all of the jobs will be replaced. How will people earn money. The only thing left that I can think of for people to do, is to do what brings them joy.

Now, I am by no means a communist (what I mean is that I haven’t read much on it), so I can’t say that what I’m saying is an accurate representation of how a communist society would function. From what I know in a communist society people what be able to more effectively do what they are truly passionate about without the issues of capitalism.

I know this sounds stupid (and could’ve worded it better), it’s just something I’ve been thinking about.

I know that this is a stupid question, but can someone define what slop content is. I’m asking because I thought it was just A.I. content, but apparently that’s not the case. From what I now understand slop content is content that is usually repetitive with no substance. The best way to describe it are commentary YouTubers or YouTubers who “dissect” a topic just to surface level analysis. I’m just curious to know if that what I just said can be classified as slop content, or if it’s different.

I want to start of by saying that I’m not a communist. I’m certainly intrigued by it due to our capitalist society,however; I feel it would be an insult to call myself communist when there are others who truly understand communism.

With that being said, one thing that has never sat right with me is when someone says communism wouldn’t work because it goes against our nature. If that’s the case then what would be the point of ethics. (From what I understand) Ethics is really based on how we should act. If you are to believe that communism will ultimately fail because it goes against our nature, wouldn’t they mean that on some level you would believe that ethics are pointless. I would argue that being prone to violence is in our nature, but yet we are taught that it is wrong. We should use our words and try to avoid violence. Are those people saying that we should stop trying to be non violent?

So I know that a lot of people are obviously disappointed with Season 5 and just with how the show ended. When looking at Season 1 compared to Season 5 the differences are very apparent. From the dialogue to how the world felt sir much more lived in. So with that being said, at what point did you think the show started to decline? Now I can’t really say as I haven’t watched the show. I’ve only seen clips of it and watched ending explained videos of the boys.

What’s the difference between 100 vs 200 vs 300 vs 400 level classes. I know like what they’re for but it’s there any difference in terms of difficulty?

Also wanted to add that I’m majoring in Sociology and political science. I’m excited
