I'm planning on moving to KL along with my wife and two year old son for approximately six months. How much can I expect to spend overall including rent, food (mostly cooking at home with occasional dining out), utilities, transportation, and occasional entertainment?
What areas do you recommend I can check out for rent? Also any advice on what I should get sorted out before traveling?
My spouse is from a country subject to a full travel ban and had her IR1 interview over six weeks ago. At the interview, she received a white sheet with a 221(g) refusal and a pink sheet with a 212(f) refusal due to the ban. We were instructed to email additional supporting documents to the embassy/consulate.
I have two questions regarding the process:
The CEAC status still displays as "READY" and hasn't changed in over six weeks. How will I know when there is an update or movement on the case?
Document Email Confirmation: Are we supposed to receive an automated or manual confirmation acknowledging that the emailed documents were received and/or processed?
