Trying to rebuild my F-150 1990
What's the best thing to use to strip all the oil off down to the cast iron. So I can get the whole block painted

Try to rebuild. Right now I have the engine out and the transmission out to be rebuild then trying to do body work. This is my first time trying to rebuild anything in my life 42 years old. The truck was given to me as a present .it manual 4 speed.
