Major health systems sponsoring epic EHR training

I'm currently finishing up a few certs in Health Information Management and will be applying to the major health systems (it seems to be Sanford and Avera). I'm open to any role. Does anyone on this sub work for them, and do they offer sponsorship to get certified as an Epic Analyst? That is a certification I have been working towards, and from what I've read, they usually want you to have some background in IT or admin and records. And you also need an employer to sponsor you for the training and certification.

Lamb cuts

A new carnivore find! My local Indian bazaar has these and also goat cuts in a big deep freezer. I've thought of frying them, though I'm not sure if there are bone fragments in these. So I went with cooking them in the crockpot. Will see how they turn out.

Applying to an internal position in current company

I've worked for this company two years and have been promoted once last year. I've been putting myself through school in an IT field and have decided to apply to an entry level service desk position at my company.

I've been told to only put the last five years of employment history on my resume, which for me would require me to put a well known company I worked at for three years but had gotten terminated from.

When I applied to my current job I still included the job I was terminated from and it obviously did not prevent me from being hired or getting promoted at my current company. But I'm worried still that applying to this IT role, the recruiter will still call my previous employer and being notified I was terminated and not consider me for this position.

Is it likely my current employer will check past employers for being considered for internal positions? I'm doubtful I will be considered for this IT role even though it is entry level because while in school I couldn't secure an internship and I don't have the higher level certs most IT recruits have. But ive consistently received positive performance reviews and my role now is as a dispatcher so I think it does have some similarities with service desk.

What pill color are we calling this crusade?

For those familiar with the pill analogy adopted from the movie The Matrix, I feel the need to devote an assigned "pill" to this movement. For me personally, it has become a sort of epiphany, and for many across the country, an awakening of sorts, of just how deep the mutt propaganda goes.

Just as theres the red pill, blue pill, black pill, orange pill ( revealing big Auto and our crappy North American infrastructure, credit to notjustbikes), I think maybe we can refer to this revelation as being brown pilled. I think since dogs roll around in mud and feces and typically have brown fur, this color would be fitting.

New before and after

Routine: Rinse my face with Micellar water and apply a 15 or 20 % Vitamin C serum.

If going out, sunscreen of at least 50 SPF.

Evening: double cleanse with CeraVe face wash. Apply tretinoin. I am up to the 0.1% dosage three nights a week.

The nights I do not use Tretinoin, I apply rosehip mixed with avocado oil to help with dryness.

Hiding clues you are a female

Ive been ordering grocery delivery for almost a year now since I don't have a vehicle. I always request to leave it in my patio and no contact. My delivery notes say to call or text me if they have problems finding my patio but it's hardly ever needed because it's at an apartment complex and my patio has my apartment number on the post right next to the main entrance.

Originally, I input my real name in the contact info and it's obviously a female name. I'd say about 80% of the time when it is a male delivery driver, they always call me and say they can't find my patio and to "come out and meet them or show them". I stay behind my blinds and curtain looking at them and tell them I see where they are give them the proper directions. A few times the driver will still act dumb and pace around outside. One driver will drop off the groceries then wait in their vehicle within view of me coming out to get them.

I know somewhat the reasonable excuse is they want to make sure it's not stolen or that they dropped it off in the right place. IDK. But it still wouldn't be necessary since I request no contact and drop off.

Ive since changed my first name to a generic male name and for the last 2 or 3 months that hasn't happened.

I know this sounds trite but these gig jobs where the driver has to know your address and then is persistent in trying to see you in person as a female despite the instructions, makes me on edge and on the lookout.

Just curious if any of you ladies have encountered this and have needed to obscure the fact you are female?

My 2nd pickled egg batch turned out so much better

My first batch of pickled eggs and beets was insanely overpowered by using ACV and following a recipe with no water for dilution. My whole apartment smelled like ACV for a few days and had to leave the windows open.

I made a few changes for my 2nd try. I replaced the SCV with regular white pickling vinegar. Added the one cup of water dilution with the two cans of beets. Added 3/4 cup of honey because I don't have sugar and figured it would be a bit healthier. Added the seasonings. And the picture above are after the 24 hour waiting period. They came out great. Though I think they were still on the sweet side than I'd like. I prefer more tangy than sweet, so I may just add a few tablespoons of honey next time. I eat them along with the beets and salt and pepper. It was dee-lish.
